My fiancé and I went there this past weekend while we were camping around Allegheny. The food was so delicious! We got the tacos (so good) pulled pork Mac and cheese and potato salad would definitely recommend if your in the area👏🏻 10/10 will be stopping again!

It has often been said you should not judge a book by its cover. However in this case, I loved the cover. A humble rib shack. Now comes the REAL part. Fantastic ribs, great homemade sides (and a long list of them) and nice folks running the show. If you like southern BBQ with REAL sides, this is a great place. Nothing fancy suits it well. Friends raved about the pulled pork and brisket too. The three of us all enjoyed a great experience.

We stopped here on a road trip 5 years ago and the food was delicious. So, passing through in July, we decided to stop again. What a disappointment. We got there just after they opened. Our order was taken and it took quite a while to get our food. There were three people ahead of us who received their food about 10 minutes after we ordered. Our food was interrupted by a take out order that was lost that had to be recreated. They told those people that they could pull the meat right out of the smoker for them if they wanted to wait a few minutes. I think we were served the left overs from the day before. The meat was dry. It was nothing like what we enjoyed the last time. I'm not sure if it is new management or cutting back on costs.
We stopped here for lunch and were sick for three days!! I should have questioned when food was being offloaded from a truck into the restaurant. Don't risk eating here!!

The food was straight up garbage and dry. If I was starving in the wild and stumbled upon some Hog Wild BBQ I would rather starve to death than eat this trash food. Even feeding this to my dog would be animal abuse. I don't know what tastes better, a homeless mans crusted bum or Hog Wild BBQ.

Do yourself a favor and drive away. Horrible customer service, lackluster food - and if they mess up your order, they don't make good on it. Rant and suggestion on an eating establishment to avoid. We are out on another trip and decided to try a little local BBQ restaurant that we've passed and always wanted to try. Well...we aren't able to enter the premises, due to COVID 19, so you have to stand on their stoop and call your order in. I tried to order two items - they're out. No suggestion like " hey, maybe try this..." - that's bad idea #1. You always suggest another item! You're going to lose a sale if not! I specifically ordered no onions or peppers in my nachos, placed bobs order, paid over the phone and then went to wait in the truck. Our food comes out, Bob tips the server, we leave. It's about 7:30 pm...we get back to the campground around 7:50 pm. ( You can't eat at the establishment unless you eat in your car and I'm not eating BBQ nachos in the car) I open Bobs food...looks tasty! I'm excited...I love BBQ! - and when I opened my dinner, it's covered with onions, and scallions. I immediately call the restaurant at 7:52 pm. No answer, but recorded message says "we are on another line try back". So I do. No answer again. I tried several times. Same results. I decided to send a message on Facebook, and the response I got was "this is the catering business, call tomorrow." Are you kidding me??? You have an unhappy customer and that's your response??? I thought businesses were wanting customers and this type of response is certainly how you lose customers! I made a Facebook post and funny enough, someone, the "caterer" I suppose comments and says "Ok Karen"...lol...that's funny! I'll be calling again tomorrow, but in the meantime, I'm hangry!!! And this isn't a campground that's close to any other restaurants that are open at this time of night. ** Update - when I called today, I got the run around, was told they wouldn't refund my money, and I was hung up on at least 4 times. I made sure to call back multiple, multiple times...and of course they wouldn't answer. Then she, possibly the "caterer" told me she'd have me arrested for calling again. Well, I know it's only a citation for harassment by communication at best, so I called again. And then I called our credit union who will handle the matter :) And of course I got a call from the PA State Police. I think the trooper had a good chuckle and I don't have a citation :) So that's Zero stars (but they don't have an option for zero stars, so one it is!) and zero recommendations for Hog Wild BBQ in Warren, PA!

I lived in Dallas Texas for 10 years and this is not southern bar b que? The meat was so dried out and was cooked beyond jerky. You could not chew it it was so hard and dried. The bar b que sauce was good and the beans were very good but the meat itself was very poor at best. We had ordered several meals and all the meals were the same and everyone was unhappy with their meal. The lady working there was very rude and not very personal. That is another thing is not like southern bar b que, rude people dealing with customer.
