My wife and I stopped in a few minutes after they opened for the day and took a little time to check out the menu. The options are good, meat options were all the standards you'd expect from a BBQ place. They have several sauce options and all the standard sides you'd expect as well. Being our first time here I ordered a family meal with all their sides and three meats, my wife ordered their loaded macaroni and cheese. Their was only one employee at this time and she took our order and let us know we could sit anywhere we want. Seating options inside are two picnic tables and three bars with tall seats and outside under a little canopy of sorts there's several picnic tables. I am not complaining about seating, this is exactly what I was expecting from a little BBQ joint and am perfectly happy with it. At this point our food was delivered and it looked AMAZING. Overall everything was very good, the Voodoo sauce that I chose was incredible. I ended bagging up most of the food to take home which was my plan. Hats off to the young woman working by herself that day she was as friendly and polite and never looked put off at being busy.

Please avoid this nightmare calling itself a BBQ joint !! The building itself is rundown and the kitchen area is filthy and outdated, just like their worthless employees that swear at you when you ask why it takes over 30 minutes to make 2 sandwiches with cold sides !!!! They also pull all their meats out of plastic bags and then fry it on the flat top until it dries out completely. How can you call yourself a BBQ with shitty food prep like that ? EMBARRASSING !! To top it all off they don't train their employees at all. This place should've been shutdown by the Health Department years ago!

First time going here.
Dinner time on a Saturday and they were out of multiple items. No mac and cheese, no chicken tenders for a kids meal, no chicken wings, no fried pickles, no lettuce for the tacos and a few other things I think.
Men's room was pretty dirty, no paper towels and a bucket of stagnant water under the sink.
Food wasn't bad, but not great for what the bill was.
I dont think I would go back.

Ribs and fries were good. Coleslaw was garbage a splash of red wine vinegar on cabbage then let it sit in the cooler so it tastes like the inside of the cooler! We went there a few years ago and it was terrible, thought we would try it again. Still terrible. Bathroom is a nightmare, table we sat at felt like it would collapse at any minute. Left still hungry both times.

We stopped here on a whim, as we were passing through Warren & did a quick search for restaurants nearby. Well, we hit the jackpot with this place! Really good pulled pork over Mac & Cheese! Definitely gonna have to go back again & try some other things. Fast, friendly service & a laid back, roadside atmosphere.

I come through Warren once a year I stopped at this place the previous year and it seemed OK for a meal this time I stopped on the way through again. The old guy who was the cook was extremely rude almost like unnecessary. I ended up walking out the door and not eating here. They don’t need any of my money or wasting of my time. There’s plenty of other places around Warren to eat. I made sure I told the 100 people I was meeting never go there or eat there. I hope them the best of luck. Maybe the old cook guy had a bad day and was taking it out on me I guess. Or maybe that’s just how the place is either way if you’re gonna have a restaurant you can’t treat customers like that.

Small place but worth a try. Been 2x now and both times good quick service. Friendly staff. Excellent food. High quality large portions excellent value on the feast for 2!. Well be sure to go back when in the area again!

went back to hog wild after years. we were so disappointed to see how dirty and rough the atmosphere was..the bathrooms were filthy..nearly out of soap, no paper towels, buckets catching water leaks, just nasty. plates were somehow sticky and greasy. the meat was of course delicious, but everything else was lackluster. staff looked like they just rolled out of bed. didn’t dare looking into the kitchen area much because we could see how messy it was.

i hate leaving a negative review, as i used to write the menu boards out for dean..and new him years back..but we were really sad to see the hit this place has taken… spent over $90 for four adults..and if we hadn’t been invited to eat there, we would have immediately asked for our money back and left.

truly hope this place gets cleaned up and back to par…not sure how it would pass inspection.
