My young child is obsessed with the popcorn shrimp and the pasta dish with the crab and shrimp. Our last meal there couldn’t have been anymore perfect. Her eyes lit up when instead of being presented with a dessert menu, someone came out with a large plate with visual samples and explained each dessert to us. she was like 👀👀👀 speechless.

Cheesesteaks are delicious. Pizza was good. Did take out multiple times and the fries are literally a soggy oil mess. Twice they have been unable to be eaten to do being a ball of sogginess.

Very popular, very small place that uses some high quality seafood. They only take reservations for parties of more than two. We had to wait for a table to become available. Parking lot is tight. Nice outside patio. Service is fast and friendly. Bread basket contains very good garlic & butter cheese bread. The bread is slices of their quality hoagie rolls.
Our overall experience was average. The best dish we had was the tomato basil soup (with surprise cheese). Clams casino appetizer was not well prepared. It was just small clams with some toppings – bacon, and red peppers, some of which were charred black.
The stuffed flounder special was not great, though I did finish it all. Flounder was cooked too much I think – not moist or flakey. Crab meat stuffing did not have any distinct flavor. It was served with mashed potatoes and green beans. The mashed potatoes had very good flavor, though they were lumpy, and not quite heated all the way through. Green beans were not crisp or fresh tasting, but not bad.
The Broccoli Rabe & Rock Shrimp over pasta had good flavor, and the rock shrimp were of a higher quality than you would typically find in local restaurants. I don’t think they were quite cooked enough though. The pasta was overcooked, and the dish was swimming in way too much olive oil. A deep puddle of leftover olive oil remained, and we would have appreciated the promised refill of our bread basket, which unfortunately was forgotten.
When we first arrived, the front dining room was full of smoke. That happened once again while we were eating. You would not want to be seated in the front when this happens — smoke levels were unhealthy.
Dessert here is nothing special. Overall this place is worth another visit to try some other dishes, experience their high-quality seafood, and see what makes it so popular.

Stopped in last minute without a reservation with my wife and 2 daughters. Staff cleared a table for us right away. Clams Casino were recommended by a regular. They were the best I have ever had. Homemade pasta, seafood pizza, and chicken Marsala all hit the mark. Service is super friendly and welcoming. So happy we stopped in and we will be back!
Best cheesesteak sandwich ever, PERIOD. There is none better anywhere, South Philly or anywhere else.

Been going here for several years. The food has always been very good. It’s the only place I will get oysters.
They need a better system for reserving tables, but since the place is so small I get how difficult that must be. We had to wait quite a while for our table- 1/2 hr. and then the party after us had to wait as well. However I wouldn't want anyone to get rushed either out as others have experienced.
The service used to be better. I ordered mussels from the appetizer menu and specifically stated I wanted it as my meal since we had also ordered appetizers. the mussels came with the appetizers and was cold by the time everyone was served their meal. I’ve don’t that before with no issue. There were other requests aka hot sauce that were never fulfilled.
I still recommend it and will return hoping service improves as well.

I think it's the owner, who is always there and so friendly.He is very personable,is waiting on tables and calls everyone a friend. They don't try to rush you and the food Is great,with nice atmosphere.You will always find something different there with the specials. Everything is flavorful and not something I would make at home, so it's a treat.Today we had scallop and clam chowder, The brisket special, allesios special which is seafood ,a vodka sauce over gluten free pasta and gnocchi Alfredo with chicken and fried calamari. All very yummy.That is our place of choice in the Warrington area!
Dietary restrictions: A lot of gluten free options which is why we go do often. My daughter in law has celiac disease so.this is a great option with lots of variety.

I can’t say enough good things about Alessio’s! As someone with celiac disease, finding a place where I feel safe with my gluten restriction is a challenge, but Alessio’s delivers every time. I’ve eaten here several times now, and the food has been phenomenal on each visit. I am very sensitive to cross contamination too. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, making me feel completely comfortable with my dietary needs. The variety of gluten-free options is impressive, and the quality of the food is outstanding. I always have an amazing time dining here and highly recommend it to anyone, especially those with gluten restrictions!
