Was looking for a good sushi place, and this place was great! Service was good and wait time wasn't too long. The people working there are very welcoming. The fish tasted fresh and they don't overdo it with the sauce. Could see myself coming back!
Everything was wonderful, the service, the food, the chef, the atmosphere, I could go on and on. We were celebrating my Mom's 80 birthday with a few of her friends and this team couldn't have made it more special. A Hidden Gem for sure. Amazing Hibachi, fresh seafood, delicious filet mignon, raspberry cake with a candle...... everything was excellent. I knew when I called to make the reservations, and called back to change them 2 times, and wasn't treated like i was being a pain in the neck, everything would be great. Please check this place out. We're gonna try lunch next time

Dined at this establishment last night to celebrate my birthday with my family (party of 6) and I have mixed reviews. The food was good and the waitress was attentive; however, the hibachi chef did not give us the full service that he gave the large party that arrived after us. First of all, I had mentioned several times to the waitress and chef that my mother-in-law was completely vegetarian and could her veggies, tofu and vegetarian-style rice be prepared first? The chef started frying the eggs up right away with the rice. I could see the look of panic on my mother-in-law’s face. When we said something, the chef started cleaning the spatula and did what we asked. We thanked him numerous times. Then my brother-in-law’s order was messed up - he asked that the rice be substituted for noodles and was told that’s not what he ordered. My brother-in-law also has a shellfish allergy and asked the chef if he could cook his steak before putting the shrimp on the grill. The chef said he would and said he sees people come in there with different (sometimes unheard of allergies) all the time. He went on and on about that, even commenting (in a mocking type way) about someone saying that they had a “rice allergy”. After that comment, he was disengaged. The real kicker was after he was finished with us, he went to cook for the other table, was giving the adults shots of sake and throwing the food in the family members’ mouths (the experience we were looking for and felt very slighted). My 12 y/o son would have especially enjoyed that. All we got was the volcano. It was our first time there and it will be our last, unfortunately.

New owners have really been stepping it up. You can tell they care and are taking steps to pay attention to details and bring some life back into the place. Hibachi is solid and sushi is good and fresh. Service is now great! I would have given them four stars before but after new management they get an A for effort and all of the improvements they have made. I hope to see them thrive, they are doing great.
