This place is closed. Lights are off. No one is there ever

Don't make the mistake we did and try to eat at the one in Warrington. Not open. Heard that it won't be open, so we then drove to Ambler.Food was OK. First time having pork belly ends and they were delicious. Service was sub-par. We needed to ask for water on more than one occasion. Ice cream cake must have come from the deep freezer because we needed a knife to cut it. The heated spoon didn't even do the trick. We will eat at other bbq restaurants. Best of luck.

I'm so happy to see this place back. They are still (Sept 2021) only operating a pick up restaurant but the BBQ is fantastic. The brisket was tender with just enough fat on it to keep it moist. The pork and chicken were equally delicious. The ribs were cooked really well, almost fall of the bone but with just a bit of a bite. The chicken wings were nice and smoky with a really interesting savory rub. It may have contained coffee but we weren't able to agree on that.I'm really looking forward to seeing them open back up for in person dining but pick up is a good way to spend my time waiting.

I really can't grade this eatery yet because its not open to in-house dining. You can call your order in and pick it up at the back door:-) like the 1920s speakeasy. BUT, this I can say..from what I saw...I will be back. The place looks really nice and from the pile of wood stack up at the pit out back..for sure its gonna be some finger-licking down south BBQ... stay tune for my real critique!

We met with friends at this restaurant for lunch. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very nice. The crew were very polite and we felt fantastic. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we will visit this place again. Highly recommended.

Are they opened are they closed? After the first few months of no one ever knowing I quit trying. I showed up with hours to spare before close twice and the kitchen was closed. I’ve never heard of that in a restaurant before. The Mac and cheese ball were amazing. Everything else was mediocre. Service was weird. Very nice but Nobody knew any of the menu questions. Bbq is serious to some folks and no one but the manager spoke bbq language at all. Where is the front door? Prices were higher than they should have been for the quality of bbq. I’ll give them another shot one day but I’m in no rush after all the wasted time I spent trying to eat there. It’s really a 2-3 star restaurant in my honest opinion but I figure I’ll give them another try hope they just don’t have any clue on how to open a restaurant at all. Multiple threads on multiple community Facebook pages agree.

I meet with friends this lovely place often! This is the best place to dine. I go to this spot regularly. The meals are excellent, the staff members are welcoming and the charge is reasonable. I like eating in this spot for a nice supper.

I admire this spot! They offer high class food, they have a rich menu, The cook in that restaurant is a real authority in the kitchen, I love a lot eating all their food. The food is consistently fresh, the service towards the visitors is efficient. I go often to this restaurant and I was never unsatisfied. I recommend it to all my friends.

First visit. Somewhat limited menu. Mostly BBQ meats. The food was good and so was the service. However, if you are a fan of bourbon and whiskey this is your place - 75 CHOICES and 14 choices of Scotch. A dozen bottled beers and probably the same amount of canned beer. Four varieties of red wines, three whites, and one rose. There are a variety of special mixed drinks that looked interesting and one non-alcoholic mojito.

as always, the food was excellent! it was quiet, felt safe and clean and everyone was respectful of space. our server went above and beyond to get us dessert, which was very much appreciated. and the cornbread is the best i've ever had in my life. i hope they stay open for in-person dining a little longer.

Great outdoor seating. Food was amazing and service even better. You get a ton of great BBQ for your money and the mac and cheese side was divine. The “burnt ends” appetizer of the day was so great

Best BBQ I’ve ever had hands down

What a friendly staff. The atmosphere was great. It was so nice to sit outside and have a good meal. The only negative is that the menu has been condensed due to covid. They should let you know that on their website. The website has its normal full menu.

We were sat inside which was not a problem. The issues arises when our waiter did not share with us the specials even when asked if there were any other options we were told no just the limited menu. After ordering we heard another waitress share three different specials with another table. Once the food arrived: my son enjoyed his burger, my wife liked the sliced brisket - all downhill from there. The sausage was bland and tasted like it was “old” or stale, the greens and beans were void of any taste, the beans were very mushy, the bbq sauce served with the sausage was a gelatinous blob that was very off putting. I did not eat my meal after tasting the sausage and gelled bbq sauce. They did remove my meal from the bill but not the beans which were not eaten either. Will never eat at this restaurant again. This is a shame because I did go to the ambler location for happy hours in the past.

It will be nice when we can eat in the restaurant again. These draconian measures of the interfering government need to end soon. The staff works very hard to be accommodating and efficient. I applaud the cooks and waitstaff. Keep up the great work in these trying times. As always, the food was delicious and the drinks appropriate!
