Nice bar and grill, just waning and anticipating sale. It is now a BYOB. There is an upside here, the seafood is amazing, it is what they are known for in the area and we can see why. My wife and I tried almost everything and it is wonderful. Tell Bob and Barb Steve sent you.
It's been years since we've been to Daylidas. Moved out of the area years ago and during a family visit, decided to see if the food was still good. We were not disappointed! The outside might turn you away as it still looks like a neighborhood bar and when you walk in, it's the same vibe. Only one other couple in there on a Thursday evening and no one at the bar. Have been coming here for many years, and the food is consistently good. Yes, it is an old coal-miner's bar, but it is clean and bright and comfortable. Friendly staff and patrons are obviously enjoying themselves immensely. Nice "retro" vibe for a place that is the real deal and not a retro re-creation. Food is always great. I always get the fried scallops. Superb. Same with the "lazy pierogi" casserole. I'm not a fan of coleslaw, but I enjoy theirs....
