Olivia and Javar are killing it. They go the extra mile to make sure everyone is pleased with their meal and drinks. Great new staff since our last visit. We enjoyed our meal that included original wings, Italian classic salad and the pizza with extra thick pepperoni. Delicious.

We been a long time customer & have always enjoyed your food, especially pizza! We have dined in (bar preferred) & picked up many times, noting Anthony's is not around the corner from Delaware Cty but it was always worth it.
Our last 3 in-dining experiences, 1st time noting the uncleanliness, especially your back bar, including pics & all around uncleanliness. 2nd time the same, then tried it for the 3rd & it was still the same! The thing is each time it was not busy at all (dining 'lunch), noting 3rd time we were the only customers & it took time for us to be waited on?!. Each time we noticed that there was more chatting/conversing with kitchen & staffers. We are thinking noone cares! This is a food establishment & we have seen such a disrespect to your faithful customers in respect to cleanliness. Sadly 3x tried to give the benefit of the doubts but clearly management & responsibilities are lacking. Very sad that I had to write this but hope that you will consider other patrons in the future 🙏. Unfortunately, we will not be back.
Thank you

My wife and I have eaten at Anthony’s for over 15 years. We counted it one of our favorite pizza restaurants. We just had pizza (11-8-24) for lunch and it was the worst we have had - extremely hard crust and bread was very stale-like. The cheese and meat on the pizza was fine and we finished it. When we mentioned it to the waitress she had no comment - no “we’re sorry” - and walked away and got our bill. Very, very disappointing to have bad food and poor service. We’ll give it time before we go back, sorry to say.

I came in here for lunch and was the only one there. They treated me amazing. Offered me to sample some of their appetizers, which were amazingly delicious, including a meatball with ricotta some focaccia bread, a garlic knot and a couple buffalo wings! Ended up getting their lunch pizza, which was also delicious!

The pizza tastes great. We got the meatball and ricotta pizza. Good tasting (and a good amount of) sauce. Loses one star because if the pizza maker would have put just a bit of effort into cutting the pizza evenly (poor cuts resulting in tearing and extremely unbalanced sizes) and distributing the toppings evenly (90% of the ricotta was on a single slice and half the pizza lacked meatballs) it would've been close to perfect. Loses another star because the brownies were just individually wrapped vending machine brownies. We didn't even want to eat them. The devil is in the details. Easily fixed with some attention to detail. But definitely don't send people vending machine brownies. Will give them another chance though.

UPDATE 2: This place struggles, but it's a good value and the staff try their best. 3 stars!
UPDATE: They've gotten better. Still not perfect, but better.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Beware of shady pricing!
We tried to order Anthony's $25 "coal fired bundle" but kept getting an error on the website. The deal is for a large pizza with one topping, and when we tried to do half and half (one half with a meat, one half with a vegetable), it kept saying "pick a topping." So we called up. We had to wait a few minutes through the "did you know you can order online?" nonsense, and were then put on hold. When we finally got to a human being, they took the order and told us it would be $29+.
Um...ok? Before she hung up, I asked her to repeat the amount. Yep. $29-something. I pointed out that it's a $25 special bundle, and she tried to spin it as "oh, that's like taxes." Sorry, but no. Probably an honest mistake on her part (at least for a moment). She then corrected herself. "Oh, it's extra for the second topping." Um...we're not getting a second topping. "Yeah, it's like half a pizza with a second topping." We took a moment to make sure she understood that it was one topping on half the pizza, and a different topping on the other half. She got it, but kept trying to explain it's like getting an extra topping.
We then realized that's probably why the online system wouldn't take the order, and flashed back to an in-person experience where our bill was higher and the server caught it and fixed it. Turns out they really do want to charge you for a second topping for a half-and-half scenario.
That's just shady. And it's a shame, because we enjoyed the pizza the one time we went. But just out of principle, we're not going to pay extra for the same product. There's no added cost incurred here (same cost of ingredients, and maybe 5 extra seconds of labor?) and most places will gladly accomodate; who wouldn't want to please the entire family! That we were (perhaps accidentally) lied to about it took the cake.
We cancelled the order. Plenty of amazing pizza places in Wayne to choose from that won't pull those kinds of games. I'll gladly update this review and we'll give Anthony's another chance if they address the issue and explain the source of the error.

This is our favorite pizza place in and around Exton! Everytime I eat there, I regret for not trying them when I lived in Exton. Now, we live 20 mins away but still travel there when we can.
These are my top two recommendations:
- Squared margherita pizza, well done with garlic and extra basil.
- Spinach artichoke dip with focaccia bread.

Waited over 45 min for a takeout order after we were told it would be 20 min, about 15 min to get a drink at the bar. Everyone seemed really busy and was running around. It was not like this last year when I was here . Staff was apologetic. Not sure what happened .
