Always a comfortable neighborhood place to dine. Chicken pot pie was delicious on a cold wintry night!
Our first time at this restaurant. Kids menu is great. Server, Damon, checked back several times to make sure everything was satisfactory. Food was excellent.
We have enjoyed Black Powder a few times in the last year. The food is consistently good to great! I love the ambience—especially in the evening! The noise level is also always good which is nice for a night out. My only complaint is that our service was very slow last night. We didn't see our server for quite awhile and when we were finished, he disappeared again. It happens but of course this time, we were trying to get our check promptly as it was snowing. We'll be back for sure-it's a nice place to eat!
We were there on a Saturday night- in the back room where they put the kids. A little noisy! Food & service were good- very attentive staff.
The food was good and the atmosphere was noisy. There were a lot of families with children. It was fine, just noisy. The service was great.
Met three friends I worked many years ago at the restaurant and had a great time catching up. Food and service were very good.
Nice place with some history

A very cool, old-timey vibe with live music (sax player who sang), friendly employees, and lots of wood touches make the place fun. Beef cubes in the chili, great seasoning in the Cajun mac n cheese, and perfectly grilled burgers make the food just as good as the feel of this place. Definitely the go to after Valley Forge (we found it from a guide's recommendation).

Sooo good. The pot pie and the meatloaf were top teir. Whiskey/bourbon flights are awesome for the aficionado. Beautiful historic building.

I'd go back just for the chili but everything was fantastic. Great whiskey selection if that's your thing and all of the food was top notch. The vibes are also awesome.

Came here once, never again. Food was gross and came out cold. Service was beyond horrible & awkward. I’ve never been given so many spoons at a restaurant. Everything was so under seasoned and bland.

The food was really good! We enjoyed the cocktails (margarita and espresso martini), appetizers (brussels sprouts and poutine), and entrees (like the chicken pot pie). We did feel a little rushed at the end, as we were given the check before we had a chance to ask about desserts.
We have been frequent guests of Black Powder for years. The food is always good and service is good as well. Last night we had the best server, Jason. Could not have been more attentive.
We had a great time meeting friends at the Black Powder on Sat night. It was busy and packed, parking is a challenge and thanks to the Valet guys! The wings are perfectly crispy and spicy and the Poutine appetizer could have been my meal! So delicious, paired with a pumpkin beer. For dinner the Chicken Pot Pie and half chicken never disappoint. Best mashed potatoes!! We also loved the bread pudding and apple crisp. Alanna did a great job taking care of us!
