Always consistent with the food, service, and value. Great location to meet up with other humans. As much as I love music, unfortunately it can end up not adding to the overall experience of dining and socializing.
We visited Black Powder Tavern on a Thursday afternoon. (After lunch time)There were 2 other couples in the restaurant at this time. Service was excellent. My chopped salad was delicious as always. I also ordered a side of blackened chicken which was very tasty. My husband had the chicken sandwich which was excellent. Really nice historic tavern. Went for Sunday brunch at around 11:30. Only complaints: no coffee when we were seated, we waited for more to be brewed. Crab Eggs Benedict was really good but it took 40 minutes to come to the table. It was not crowded. Jason our server was great!
