Takumi was a fun place to go for a casual Valentine's dinner with family. The service was attentive and food came out quickly. The vibe in the restaurant was upbeat. The cocktails were inspired and tasty. We loved the purple fry app. If you get he coconut shrimp entree, be aware that the shrimp are not peeled, so there is a bit of messy work to be done. Overall, a great time.

We enjoyed the Kamamuto oysters followed by a deep bowl of Tom Yum (him) and Spicy Seafood (me) soups. The soups were each generously filled with either chicken or every possible undersea creature (calamari, shrimp, mussels, baby clams, octopus, etc!) in a delicious homemade broth that I now wish I brought home - definitely order the soups if you feel a little cold coming on! We finished with a shared order of Seasonal sushi. The Pink Lady sake was presented as a glass of wine (me-delish) along side my husband's order of malbec. Service was impeccable - attentive w/o being intrusive, each dish solemnly presented to our table. Thanks Wednesday!

My friends and I enjoyed a great meal at Takumi. The cocktails were creative and tasty and the sushi was fresh, beautifully plated and delicious. This would have been a five star experience for me had it not been for the poor service. No one came to ask us if we wanted to order a drink while we waited for the last member of our party and it took a good 10 minutes for anyone to take our drink order after that person did arrive. We ordered apps at the same time since we had been waiting. Apps came out super fast, but no one came to check on us or take our dinner order. In hindsight, we probably should have ordered our dinner at the same time as the drinks and apps. After finishing our apps and still waiting for our server, we finally flagged down another server to find her so we could order. While she did come back to check on us once after food was delivered, we spent most of the rest of our dinner having to flag her or another server down every time we needed something, including the check. I'll definitely give Takumi another chance because the food was so good, and hope for better service next time.

always happy with the sashimi dinner I get....nice selection of fresh fish presented in a lovely way and always tasty. Also love the hand rolls I typically order. Even the special rolls with sauce, cooked items are great as well, although I tend to favor simple sushi/sashimi. when I want a special meal this is where I choose.

My children and I celebrated mother's Day at takumi. We had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious. The service was very good. They were out of my tequila and I had to choose a new one. My cocktail was fantastic. But I had to wait another 10 minutes because of the tequila change. That's my only complaint everything else was wonderful thank you very much

While the food is delicious we had terribly slow service. For example, we sat for 20 min before we were even approached by the waiter. We placed our drinks, appetizer and entree orders with him immediately. The table next to us, who were seated 15 min after we were seated, with a party of the same size (party of 5) received their appetizers and drinks before us. Our single appetizer we ordered arrived before our drinks. Please do better when training staff. Do not think we will ever dine in again. Will stick to take out or just grabbing a seat at the bar.
