My friends and I enjoyed a great meal at Takumi. The cocktails were creative and tasty and the sushi was fresh, beautifully plated and delicious. This would have been a five star experience for me had it not been for the poor service. No one came to ask us if we wanted to order a drink while we waited for the last member of our party and it took a good 10 minutes for anyone to take our drink order after that person did arrive. We ordered apps at the same time since we had been waiting. Apps came out super fast, but no one came to check on us or take our dinner order. In hindsight, we probably should have ordered our dinner at the same time as the drinks and apps. After finishing our apps and still waiting for our server, we finally flagged down another server to find her so we could order. While she did come back to check on us once after food was delivered, we spent most of the rest of our dinner having to flag her or another server down every time we needed something, including the check. I'll definitely give Takumi another chance because the food was so good, and hope for better service next time.

always happy with the sashimi dinner I get....nice selection of fresh fish presented in a lovely way and always tasty. Also love the hand rolls I typically order. Even the special rolls with sauce, cooked items are great as well, although I tend to favor simple sushi/sashimi. when I want a special meal this is where I choose.

The food here was absolutely delicious! - hands down the best Japanese food I've had in a long time! The waiters were very attentive and caring, and made sure to accommodate our requests. I not only recommend Takumi Bistro & Bar, but I encourage you to visit! - I know I'm definitely coming back as soon as I can!

My children and I celebrated mother's Day at takumi. We had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious. The service was very good. They were out of my tequila and I had to choose a new one. My cocktail was fantastic. But I had to wait another 10 minutes because of the tequila change. That's my only complaint everything else was wonderful thank you very much

While the food is delicious we had terribly slow service. For example, we sat for 20 min before we were even approached by the waiter. We placed our drinks, appetizer and entree orders with him immediately. The table next to us, who were seated 15 min after we were seated, with a party of the same size (party of 5) received their appetizers and drinks before us. Our single appetizer we ordered arrived before our drinks. Please do better when training staff. Do not think we will ever dine in again. Will stick to take out or just grabbing a seat at the bar.

So good, first time eating here and would definitely come back! Did feel like I was being watched while we was eating, we were by the kitchen door and 5 or 6 workers were standing within feet of our table just staring at us while we ate. Was a little uncomfortable. Besides that loved the vibe of the restaurant and sushi was amazing!

We had a great meal last night, first time trying Takumi. Great rock shrimp appetizer, fried rice and sushi. Generous wine pour and service was prompt and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Always an amazing experience at Takumi & the sushi is amazing!! I especially like the Meet me in the Summer & Breezy scallop rolls. The tuna tartar is also incredible.
