Thank you for not putting so much ice in the iced drinks that you wonder why you're paying $6 for a cup of ice

It was a beautiful sunny day and I went there to pick up some pastries. Good business there. Many people were sitting either inside or outside, chatting and eating. The aroma of the coffee filled the store. I like it.

I worked here 20 years ago in college and brought my daughters for a visit. Some of the things I loved about it (i.e., the mural in the back window) haven’t changed, and the menu has even more delicious offerings than when I worked there. I’m happy it’s still the happy, homey-vibe place I remember from years ago.
Kind of awkward coming here as a newcomer/alone. Very busy, hard to identify the food menu, not welcoming vibe due to tight quarters downstairs. Upstairs was nice until a school band came in. Some signage about that would've been nice. Enjoyed my time here with friends overall.

If you need a place to do work and take meetings (maybe because your power is out) they will let you use their Wi-Fi and power for a small purchase. Their tea and coffee are all good and they have a diverse selection of milk to boot. Good avocado toast too.

I'm a regular at this place! It's super relaxing and the staff are really friendly and the cafe itself is beautiful!
I’m not sure how this place is still in business. I learned my lesson (for the second time in a row) that the folks who work here don’t know what they’re doing. I think the store is run by high school and college students. The first time, I came in the morning, (fairly early but soon after opening)—I was ordering prior to going to work, and saw them making/handing over breakfast food to customers who ordered just before I did, and then proceeded to tell me that the kitchen was closed. Okay, strange, but no problem. I thought it was just circumstantial and a little weird, but alright. Then, I come back, all I do is order a large cold brew that I paid $7 (!!!) for, and one of the women working hands it to me and I’m not exaggerating when I say it was half foam. I went to ask if the foam could be poured out and if it could be filled all the way with coffee, but then she was nowhere to be found. I guess it was fine that it wasn’t completely filled because the coffee tastes like dirt. Hopefully they’ll get it together, because this place is way too expensive for the less-than-mediocre service provided. Take your business elsewhere.

LOVE this place!! Soo cute inside, they have plenty of seats and artwork on the walls. The quality of the coffee is great, and they have pretty good matcha!! I got a bergamot macadamia iced matcha and loved it.
Delicious pour over, friendly folks
Great coffee. The real thing
Gryphon has some of the best coffee around.
They also do some seasonal house made syrups that is incredibly good.
Food has been unique and tasty the few times I have ordered.
Always a pleasure to see Rich around. Ten staff is nice.
Second floor of this location is nice as well.
Love that it’s open until the afternoon as well!
Lovely café with great coffee, food, and other beverages.
