Met up with friends for an early dinner. We each had a jumbo margarita, and it definitely hit the spot, very well made. The table side guacamole was great, they let you customize the level of heat too. My burrito was enormous! The food came out faster than any restaurant I’ve been to recently. Thank you Lumbrada for a great meal!

Lumbrada Cocina Mexicana is such a great restaurant. I have come here on multiple occasions, whether it was for a company happy hour or celebrating someone’s birthday. My friends and I honestly love coming here to pre-game and have a great dinner after. Their cocktails are so worth it, one margarita is enough for the whole night if you ask me. There are over 10 different kinds of margarita flavors, perfect for someone who wants a large variety. The beer-Rita will have you ready to take shots of tequila right after.As for the food. The chips and salsa are always so good. The order of empanadas were very delicious and easy to split in half for bigger groups! We tried the Quesa Birria tacos which are a must try, very flavorful. The 3 shrimp tacos always come out pretty good, they come with corn tortillas! Definitely order the steak fajitas! Their fajita dish is a great show when it comes out and always smells so good. The tamales were really tasty as well. I highly recommend visiting. This is a great Mexican restaurant for lunch or dinner!

Saturday night out. The food and service were good. There was a group of people at the table near us with a puppy. That’s right. There was a dog in a restaurant. It was like the twilight zone. We waited for a manager or someone to tell them that you can’t have animals in a restaurant. Nope. Just ignored it like it was nothing. Where’s the health dept when you need them? To clarify, it was not a service dog, just a very cute, very young puppy. Weirdest thing I have ever seen.

Awesome Mexican restaurant in the area. We were so disappointed at one point where, plaza Azteca took over this place. Happy to see Lumbrada is back. I love their quesadillas, freshly made Guac, fajitas, nachos etc and the list goes on.They used to have live music performances on Friday nights. Not sure if that’s still on. Highly recommend this place for food lovers.

Thanks for the tasty vegan options! Got the vegan tacos and vegan burrito bowl which was quite tasty. It’s awesome to have vegan cheese and soy meat available to elevate the veggies that I’’m normally left with at other Mexican restaurants. The salsa and chips are very fresh. The music was very nice and the seating inside is very beautiful.

First time coming here and my and myself were surprised by their food, friendly environment family oriented kind of, the owner stopped by our table to tell us a bit about the place and his grandma’s recipes recommending one of them: Quesa Birria Tacos and that was a hit. Parking availability is fantastic and I’m really surprised that reservations aren’t required not yet. An awesome place overall and we’ll keep coming back for sure.

This restaurant is not okay. I did get my food really fast which I was happy about. I do think it’s funny when I go into Mexican restaurants and they don’t think that I speak Spanish, you really catch them off guard when you start speak in Spanish. The food it was OK make my stomach hurt a little bit but it wasn’t bad. I got Horchata drink which was good but a lot of ice. The chips and salsa we’re good too

All of the food was amazing. Had the quesa-birria and it was perfect. The avocado margarita was different but good. Also the chipotle burrito was humongous and delicious. Will definitely be going back.

Lumbrada quickly became our favorite local Mexican spot. We order take out here more than any other place in town because the food is truly delicious. Unfortunately, our last two pick ups in a row had missing items, which is disappointing.
The food was amazing. The drinks were amazing. The service was amazing. You need to come get and come hungry.

The Spanish way of saying so-so is asi-asi & that's what we thought of our meals here. We had differing experiences, both positive & negative, thus the so-so opinion. One very big negative is the noise level...so loud that we could not have any conversation among the 5 of us. On the plus side, our server was great, super friendly & helpful. The other big plus was that the desserts were decadent & rich. So, if you like sweet things, come here, but bring your earplugs,

Edit: As of 8-12-2021 We have had no response regarding the unauthorized charge to our credit card from Lumbrada Cocina.I’m very disappointed with this restaurant. We recently went to Lumbrada Cocina and had terrible service. They added additional funds to my credit card that were not approved. I will be filing a report with credit card company. I contacted corporate by phone and email and no response. I'm very surprised as I have always have had exceptional experience with Plaza Azteca in Plymouth Meeting and KOP.I will be sure to let others know to always check their credit card receipts with bank. Make sure you always cross reference your charges with statement.Look for my other reviews being posted on other media outlets soon.BBB will be contacted as well.
