Best thing to happen to Wayne was this restaurant closing. The Staff was very kind and fast hopefully they moved on somewhere where they are more appreciated and better compensated. I've seen mice upstairs and under booths downstairs. I've seen the "chef" ridicule customers over their valid complaints. I was friends with multiple staff there who all claimed he was withholding tips for weeks at a time. Hopefully the next restaurant this "chef" opens is behind bars, maybe then the food will be a bit more impressive. Another bonus is he wont have to worry about paying his staff.

The website said they were open. I called and the service was out of order. I went to Wayne, pa. And found their restaurant to be closed permanently. Disappointed that they never updated their website.

I take my family to this great spot a lot! This is my favorite restaurant to dine. I go there frequently. The cooking is very good, the staff is polite and the prices are decent. I like meeting in this restaurant over a good supper.

Fantastic and flavorful food, I love the character the place has, and the employees were very friendly. I will surely eat here again.

This was my first and last time eating here. I expected a Spanish/Mexican atmosphere with authentic food. What I got was American Country music and mediocre bar appetizers. If you want real authentic food you will not find it here.

Absolutely a spot worth trying, the food is excellent and well prepared, the pricing is fair and it is always neat here. Great work.

The food is always awesome but very disappointed in the absence of mask wearing by staff (staff walking around with masks below their chins or not at all). Our waiter and the bartender were the only ones who wore them consistently.

Went here when all other places in Wayne were full. Know why Matador was empty. Tables, chairs, and random stuff was stacked by the front window. Slim to no wine selection. Hostess seemed more concerned with a non-customer at the desk than those of us seated at a table, waiting for menus. Servers wore masks incorrectly and inconsistently. Got a frat house vibe. Food was meh, wine was meh. Will wait for a table somewhere else instead of returning here.

Went for dinner but left after ordering drinks because the only staff member in the whole restaurant actually wearing a mask was the bartender and he didn't even make our drinks. We watched an employee prepare our drinks without a mask on while the others hung out at around the bar together also not in their masks. Food runners were coming out with food with no masks so we opted out of eating. Definitely not the place to go right now given their lack of safety measures. Menus were clearly being reused as they had food spilled on them and then were given to us. Servers also were not attentive- they were more interested in mingling with each other at the bar opposed to checking on customers.

Guac was tasteless, veggie enchiladas were nothing but only loaded with cheese and drinks were okay! I would consider this a part of a “busy” Saturday evening but a $30 pricey tortilla filled with nothing but cheese casted a doubt on my judgment. Also, how can a Mexican restaurant go wrong with a guac? Thats like a bread and butter of Mexican cuisine. It is the first thing that you order before even getting your drinks! The only thing that was good is the side of cilantro rice that came with veggie enchiladas. The vibe of the place is good which is the reason I wanted to try. I am not sure about how other options on the menu are since I don’t eat meat, but I would not recommend this place to a vegetarian.

The food here is not what I expected no one was wearing a mask the bartender kept her mask on her chin the whole time I was their. They do not follow the covid restrictions, this place is the worst ever. I would rather eat at wawa before I go their again

Comfortable, nice ambiance, good menu for a small place, and every time I've been there, excellent service.

Don't go here if you're worried at all about COVID. I was truly appalled by the lack of restrictions or adherence to basic safety protocols when dining here over the weekend. When we first arrived, we were seated at a table well distanced from other patrons and the bar only had two patrons. A short while later, the bar became very crowded and large groups of people were walking in without masks and hanging out at the bar or in the middle of the restaurant, which was just feet away from our table. I didn't think bars were allowed to be open in this way, but apparently they were here. Even worse, one of the two waitresses had a mask on that clearly didn't fit her face and I don't think I ever saw her mask be above her chin. The other waitress wore her mask, but took it off later in the night when her friends came in (all without masks). She came to our table without a mask at which point I put mine on and asked for the check. I will never dine here again and this experience made me so concerned that I likely will not eat inside anymore since you cannot rely on restaurants to do the right thing.

Great for some Margaritas and tapas, especially during happy hour! If you like Tequila, then you will not be disappointed with their selection.

Overpriced except for the squid appetizer and the churros. (Worth it) They earned an extra star for the amazing sangria though.
