drove in to pick up an order from here. hostess ignored me completely. once I finally got her attention to check on estimate time, she went to kitchen, came back and said nothing. 10 minutes later when I tried to politely check that again, she reffered something to someone else in other language (Chinese?), but ignored me. never felt so bad before :|
(that's ok to be late - that's not okay to ignore your customer - and that's absolutely inappropriate to leave comments in other language that might seem offensive)

Great flavors but the rice!!! Whoever owns the restaurant please look over here! Your rice sucks! They are so dry and tiny. Not great for pairing!

Food was excellent. Family run business and the chef/owner always brings our food out with a smile. You can tell he takes pride in his work because you taste it. The family's teen works there on the weekends so you know its a legit operation.
Not quite sure why there are negative reviews from some cranky old non-asian people because they're great. I guess they expect to go to a Sichuanese restaurant run by Sichuanese people and not get Sichuanese flavor?? I guess I'll follow what they do and go leave a review at the local italian spot telling them they didn't make the olive garden breadsticks right cause there was too much bread in it. What were these people really expecting......

Great flavor and texture for a very reasonable price. Service is just attentive enough but not overbearing. The head chef/owner usually brings out the food himself with a smile and is very nice to us! Interesting that the negative reviews usually come from a middle aged white person ordering sweet and sour chicken and general tsos shrimp, if I went to the French Laundry and ordered chicken nuggets I would not expect great things.

Food is good, but not outstanding. But prices are fair and the service was prompt and courteous. Aside from standard Chinese food, they also have quite unusual (for Americans) dishes on the menu. So if you line to try some "real" Chinese food this is the place

I was truly excited to try Ping Pong as I love Szechuan food and always want to try new places that will pack a spice punch. It wasn’t great. I went for lunch and had wonton soup with my order. The wontons were so thick - normally I’d say this is a good thing - but these were way too chewy and dense.
I waited for close to 40 minutes for my lunch entree - one dish for one person. The chef admitted he forgot my order. Not once during the 40 minute wait did my server check on me or even acknowledge the long wait. I tried to catch her attention when she was clearly wasn’t busy, but could not. (I later had to flag her down to pay - she literally didn’t come by in the hour it took for me to get my food and eat it).
When I finally received my mapo tofu, it was rather bland. I had been looking forward to a traditional spicy dish with some Szechuan peppers ..: or at least some kind of peppercorns … or some other source of flavor and heat . This dish was tofu with black pepper sprinkled on top of it. The sauce was also somewhat gelatinous in a way that made the texture feel weird. I’m

Below average at best. Food was bland. The Sweet & Sour Chicken & Gen Tso's Shrimp were mostly batter. House Fried Rice & Beef Lomein were both bland & very little meat in both. Explained to the cashier that we were staying at a hotel nearby & when I got back to the hotel there were no utensils & zero condiments.
the ower is so friendly and he knows a lot about gluten free. I have celiac and had the food here over 10 times without any gluten reaction. Authentic food. Must try their rice noodle, best ever!

The “Scallion Style Pork” was sooooo good. Flavored wonderfully. And the “Hot Sauce Pork” is great as well. Definitely hits the spot when craving Schezuan style foods. Staff was friendly and attentive as well.

Very good Sichuan style food. Not sure why the rating wasn't as good. Would definitely come back. Twice cooked pork and scallion pancakes were great.

My family and I love ping pong. We love the food, it is well made and deliciously. This is one of my daughter’s favorite restaurants for years. Don’t expect fancy dining, nice simple and delicious.
