my favorite bakery, so glad this place exists. I love especially their bagels, strudel, pretzels, and raspberry shortbread cookies. They have seasonal flavors.

Purchased a cake here for my wife’s birthday. Cut the cake about two hours after purchasing. Cake was hard as a rock and uncooked inside. Paid $38 for a cake that was not remotely fresh. Taking the cake back tomorrow for a refund.

I am not sure what kind of witchcraft goes on in that kitchen! The gluten-free options are phenomenal. Everything I had was moist, fresh, and flavorful. I got a variety of pastries, donuts, and mini loaves. It’s very hard to tell that these are gluten-free based on texture and density. I would highly recommend. I cannot wait to come back.

I was diagnosed with Celiac disease in 2017 but did not know about this bakery until my sister in law bought me a birthday cake for my 50 th birthday. I could have cried it was so good!!! My niece who also has celiac disease often gets the pretzels and picks me up some they are amazing! Thank you Happy Mixer!

I stopped by yesterday and again today looking for a gluten-free cake to celebrate our kiddo’s due date. The staff was friendly and accommodated my request in under 24 hours. My wife described the design she had in mind, and this bakery blew our expectations out of the water. They captured the significance of the day perfectly, and when we saw the cake, my wife was in tears of joy at the decorator’s artistry.

They crafted a beautiful 12-inch chocolate and vanilla layer cake with blue buttercream, which we brought to the hospital with us. The cake tasted amazing moist and rich (a little dense, but you could savor the quality in every bite).

As someone who suffers with gluten issues, it is wonderful to step into a bakery and know I can purchase everything I see without the worry about gluten. Plus everything I have tried so far is delicious!

This place is grossly overpriced, but I knew that going in. Our daughter has celiac disease, so when we’re in the King of Prussia area, we stop in out of necessity. The staff is typically standoffish, kids with an obvious political axe to grind. I usually ignore it, but my recent experience on 6/17 really stood out.

There was nobody else in the store when we arrived. My daughter picked out about six items. Honestly, $5 for a brownie is ridiculous even by gluten-free standards. You could tell they recently raised prices, the signs were handwritten stickers slapped over the originals. For what they charge, they should at least be able to afford proper signage. But that wasn’t the issue.

What really got me was the attitude. The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted a receipt. Why is that even a question? Just print the receipt. When I said yes, she handed it to me and then shook the tip jar at me. Literally lifted it up and gave it a shake. It was quick, but intentional. Then she turned her back and peeked over her shoulder to see if I left a tip.

I’m sorry, but I was there for under two minutes. She grabbed six pastries and taped a box. When I was her age, I worked in a grocery store, scanning and bagging groceries for customers. No one ever tipped me, and the work wasn’t much different.

This whole tip culture has gotten out of control. If management isn’t paying a fair wage, that’s their issue, not mine. Tipping should be for drivers, servers, and bellhops, etc not glorified cashiers. The fact that this is how they operate says a lot about the culture of the place, and who’s running it. Completely turned off by the whole experience.
