The Silver Spoon offers a consistent dining experience with friendly and attentive service. The bistro setting, including the patio, is a pleasant place to enjoy well-regarded dishes such as crispy Brussels sprouts, salmon, and chicken cutlet sandwich. The on-site prepared desserts and rolls are worth mentioning. Diners have praised the outdoor dining, especially on warm summer nights, and highlighted the exceptional stone fruit bruschetta and peach gazpacho as standout appetizers. The restaurant is known for its top-notch food and fast, friendly service, making it a highly recommended spot, especially since it is a BYOB establishment, allowing guests to save on wine. This place is a local gem, with food and service always good and seasonal menu items that change throughout the year. The outdoor seating on a gorgeous summer-like October day is a favorite experience, and the bacon is considered out of control good, often ordered regardless of the meal. The menu features dishes like mussels, pasta specials with mixed seafood, and a pork tenderloin with feta, tomato, and olive salad served with a perfect polenta cake. The crispy Brussels sprouts on a bed of fava hummus with medjool date vinaigrette receive praise, and the bread pudding remains a popular, delicious dessert. Guests also enjoy a variety of fresh greens with house vinaigrette, noting the greens are truly fresh and enjoyable.
The restaurant has received outstanding reviews for its food and service. The new owner, Michael, ensures every aspect of dining at The Silver Spoon is a pleasure. The salmon is fantastic, and the restaurant is known for its superb dining experience. The quaint and quiet atmosphere, professional service, and terrific food make it a highly recommended destination. The menu offers dishes like mussels, pasta specials with mixed seafood, crispy Brussels sprouts, and a pork tenderloin with feta, tomato, and olive salad served with a perfect polenta cake. The chocolate skillet cake a la mode is an irresistible dessert, and the espresso is among the best in the area. Guests also enjoy a seasonal salad with brie and apples, which is perfect for the time of year. Overall, The Silver Spoon is a small, cozy spot that offers high-quality food in a relaxed atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for a sophisticated yet comfortable dining experience. Due to limited seating, reservations are recommended, especially for larger parties. The combination of great food, attentive service, and the option to bring your own wine makes it a popular destination for those seeking a quiet and enjoyable meal.
