The noise level in the dining area was so loud we practically had to yell to hear one another. There was a larger group at one table creating the noise. It was unpleasant and difficult to converse. This would deter me from going again to the white dog.

A well-constructed cheese plate is one of the joys of life - and White Dog's stands out. Your choice of local artisan cheeses with dried and fresh fruit and a 'surprise' chunk of honeycomb. Jason recommended the Lanchego, a Manchego made in Lancaster County, a delicious addition to our favorites.

food was good, Service was okay. The Dog theme in the Restaurant was not a favorite, kind of tacky. Get rid of all the Dog Theme and train your staff to provide more attentive service. Fill water glasses without having to ask and check on table to see if guests need anything.

Ordered French onion soup. Felt and tasted as if it were sitting out a while. Not warm. Remaining orders felt hurried and somewhat bland. Very crowded and loud. This location used to have much better food and service. We used to look forward to eating here but now it's just another place. Unlikely to return

White Dog Cafe Wayne is my go to with friends and family. The facility is so cute and well maintained. You can choose to sit inside or outside and usually they are very good to accommodate. I love the fact that they use fresh and organic ingredients. The quality of the food is very good and my favorite plate is the BLT. My only “complaint,” though not really, is that I would love for the latte to come in a slightly larger cup.
Dietary restrictions: I am lactose intolerant and they were very kind to adapt my drink to an alternative milk format, such as almond or oat milk.
We recently visited White Dog Café in Wayne for brunch expecting a pleasant dining experience, but unfortunately, it was quite the opposite.
We waited over an hour for our food with practically no communication from the staff. When we finally did hear something, we were given conflicting excuses – our server claimed a private party was causing the delay, while another employee mentioned our order wasn’t put in for 30+ minutes due to our "first course," which was simply a small basket of bread.
When the food finally arrived, it was incredibly underwhelming. Some dishes were bland and tasteless, while others were overly salty. The salad that someone ordered for their entrée was shockingly skimpy – smaller than a typical side salad. No one came to check on us after the food arrived to see if everything was satisfactory.
How disappointing that the manager, who I could see from my seat, avoided addressing the situation. Given how badly things went, I would have expected some gesture of goodwill, like comping part of the meal, but nothing was done.
This is usually a nice place, but after this experience, I’m not sure I’ll ever return. Very disappointing.
