All in all, we had another pleasant experience at White Dog Wayne. Our server, Zoltan, was excellent: attentive without being obtrusive. The food was very good and significantly better than I remembered.
Another great meal at White Dog. Was a little sad to see that the BLTA is no longer on the menu! That's my favorite. But the cheese curds were delicious and the beet and arugula salad was also delicious. Always a winner!
Great meal and service. Love the library seating. We were initially seated in the conservatory and asked to be moved to the library due to the lighting. Rose helped us move and later dropped by to ask if all was good.
Spotty service, waited nearly an hour for hummus appetizer for the table. Found it difficult to get drinks refreshed. Ice seemed to be a commodity when requested. Waiter seemed overwhelmed. Overall a mediocre experience.
Fantastic Father's Day experience at white dog Café. Our waiter Jack was delightful, very attentive. The food was amazing overall. I had a French onion soup, I will say that it was OK, but everything else was outstanding.
The ambiance here is wonderful & it is the perfect place for a good brunch if you want to go with 2 people, or even a large party! There was a bridal shower in the back room & it looked like the perfect place to host. Our food was amazing & everything was so fresh! Our waitress was very attentive & we didn't wait long at all for anything. You have to get the warm donuts to share for the table! They were the perfect size & a nice little sweet treat to start with. Cannot recommend this place enough.
We were seated for lunch at 12:30 PM and given menus, but no one acknowledged us—even though we were sitting in the middle of the room. By 12:40 PM, feeling ignored and about to leave, I flagged down a nearby waiter to ask if someone could take our order. He kindly explained that our table wasn't his, but he graciously offered to help—he filled our water glasses and took our drink order. He also mentioned that our assigned server was only on his second day. At 1:00 PM, our actual waiter finally came by to ask if we'd like something to drink. We told him we had already placed our drink orders, though my husband still hadn't received his. He said it would be right out. Ten minutes later, he returned with the drink and took our food order. By 1:30 PM—an hour after we had been seated—I had to stop our waiter again to ask if we could at least get our soup. He responded, “No, you would've had to tell me that when you first ordered.” Really? He then added that our food was “just about ready.” Yes, because salads are notoriously time-consuming. Fifteen minutes later, our food finally arrived. I love the food at White Dog, but this is the second time I've had a truly disappointing experience with the service. I won't be returning anytime soon. I honestly wish the first waiter who helped us had been our server—he was professional, attentive, and excellent at his job.
The food was great, as always. Fiona was our server — she was fantastic! Knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. Most impressively, she was also handling a very large party (12 people), but she handled it all very well!
Uniformly unhealthy food. Specials are always cheddar cheese soup with ham and bacon omelette. Zero creativity. Im not a health nut but this place is out of “mad men” era.
Something has happened in the kitchen. We've eaten here several times, but it's different now: Appetizers (deviled eggs) were bland, food (fish dishes) was cold, truffle fries were soggy and cold, pasta primavera was soggy, pasty, and heavily salted. Service was very good. Did not charge for two meals we did not eat, but nothing more. Can no longer recommend White Dog - plenty of better options nearby.

Food was very good and service was attentive. We received special treatment as it was our anniversary, and it was very much appreciated.
This is the third visit for brunch recently and another excellent experience. Great food and great service. Highly recommend the insanely good “bread basket” which consists of warm banana bread with homemade butter and jam for a starter and I had the shrimp and grits which were ridiculously good. And of course, the doggie lover in me revels in the decor 🐶🐶🥰
The service and food was exceptional at Happy Hour. We were a table of 2 sitting beside a huge and loud table, which was the only negative. Fiona was delightful and efficient.
The two of us decided to eat outside despite a bit of wind. Our server could not have been more accommodating and friendly. He put up the umbrella to help with the wind/shade. The food, as always, was delicious. You can never go wrong with mushroom soup. Always the best starter. This is our go-to for special occasions.
Jasmine took great care of us and the food was divine. Thank you for this great experience! A birthday celebration....
