The food, beer and service were great.

I don't like giving 1 star reviews, but I just had to share my experience today. I was looking for food in Waynesboro for my wife and I. I came across Michaux's menu on Google and it was unique and sounded really tasty. It was early (3:30pm), but im a trash truck driver, so that's dinner time for me. I ordered the charcuterie, the Brussels, fish and chips, and the pork belly tacos. The charcuterie was bad. The meat was all super dry and almost chewy, as if it had been left out in the open air for a while. The cheese and eggs tasted like nothing at all...which was odd. The crackers were very good. The Brussels were absolutely inedible. None of the insides were cooked enough to bite into. There were huge, hard stalks in there that couldn't be bit into. Seriously, completely inedible. The flavor was good though. The fish was under-salted, but otherwise okay. It wasn't great. The fries tasted like they were fried in really old oil and they were chewy. Almost as if they were cooked much earlier in the day, or were just left out for a long time. The coleslaw in the box with the fish and chips tasted like it had turned. The pork belly tacos were also just bad. The pork belly texture was soft and chewy. The fat was not rendered enough. It was edible, but an unpleasant texture. The sauce on them was so, so salty. The toppings on the taco were good.

I really feel bad because we are normally not complainers. I have 10+ years in the food industry as a cook, prior to my driving jobs, and so normally I would never write such a negative review because I know how hard it is to operate a restaurant and pump out good food. This, however, just needed to be said. We spent $65 and threw almost all of it away.

Rarely do we find a small brewery and try 7 styles of beer and they are all excellent. Great bartender named Brian was super knowledgeable

First time here on Mother’s Day for dinner with a group of 6 of us. It wasn’t busy, but yet the workers were so unfriendly and seemed annoyed we were there.
You could clearly tell we’d never been when we walked in, and we were never greeted with anything other than dirty looks from the girls at the register. We wondered around looking for menus and eventually found one near the bar. We figured out that you have to order at the register. After standing there for several minutes while the girls behind the bar ignored us, one eventually came over to take our order, and once again seemed annoyed to have to take our order. Everytime we walked up for refills, ketchup, etc, we were made to feel incredibly unwelcome.
I’d recommend greeting customers, especially those that are clearly first timers and are looking around wondering if you have to wait to be seated, looking for menus, etc.
On a positive note, the food was great! The customer service experience is unfortunate for this place, as they’re going to lose customers.

Their fried cauliflower is out of this world amazing!!! We came here on a Friday and the service was fast, the staff was super friendly, and the food was the best in Waynesboro!
If you are in the area definitely stop by even if it’s just for a quick side dish.

Great beer and great food.

The décor is rustic, the atmosphere is cozy, the beer and food are both decent, but service can be a little odd. If you're not used to just bar service and food running, it may throw you off a little. Overall, it's not a bad spot, a cool local brewery to check out when in the area!

Great beer, great food, cool cabin atmosphere. Get the falafel sandwich and definitely try ALL the beers.

We stopped in for another delicious dinner, while on our annual ski trip to Liberty and Whitetail.

Food was cold for the app, shareable, and wings. No service... couldn't even be bothered to bring a second plate with shareables. Water jug was unsanitary. Just felt like I constantly wanted to wash my hands.
