I’m not sure how this restaurant has high reviews, but they are all from a while back. The food is not authentic Mexican, flavors, and quality lack a lot. I took my family there twice and to be honest we will never go back, we rather drive to other cities for better Mexican food than what this restaurant gives. The service is worse than the food! my recommendation save your money, and spend it in a better place.
Prices on this Google page are different than prices in the restaurant, also if you get there after 4pm you have to pay even more for the same food. Fajitas are nothing but beans, rice and fried vegetables but they want to charge you 14$ for that. It's absolutely absurd to pay that much for so little food and then also be expected to pay a tip so the server can attempt to have a livable wage. Sorry but there is no way I'm doing that, not when the Google page says 10.50 but it's actually 14.00

The place is very clean in a family atmosphere! But what I didn't like at all was the 3-meat Fajita! I was totally disappointed! I paid $22 for each fajita, I thought it would be worth it! To begin with, the strips of meat were mixed with the onion, they were extremely thin, each strip was approximately the thickness of 1 center to give you an idea and very little quantity! Plain shrimp with no flavor! And after cooking they were a bit hard! You can tell the difference when the shrimp is grilled. To charge $22 for a fajita, they need to greatly improve the quality of the food compared to what they sell. I would pay $14, it wasn't worth it! The only thing that was worth it was the Horchata, I give them 5 ? the glass of Horchata was quite gigantic! ? And the service that the waitress gave us I give her a 5 ? excellent service! And I give the Sampler 4 ?
We love the Montezuma's in Waynesboro, the food is always fresh and the staff are wonderful.
