Tonight was our first visit and it was an excellent experience! All my son wanted for his birthday was to go have sushi so we decided to try Sapporo, and it definitely won’t be our last visit. I don’t eat sushi or anything but decided to try the chicken fried rice, it was the best I have had in a long time! I cannot say enough good things about Sapporo and their counterpart restaurant, Nikki’s, in Waynesboro. Nikki, the owner, and her servers, Connor, Andrew, and Grace, as well as the rest of the staff, are so incredibly welcoming and passionate about what they do. The food is always amazing at both locations, but my favorites are the beef fried rice and Connor’s Roll. Connor (creator of the Connor’s Roll) always has amazing recommendations, and you can’t go wrong with anything...
I went there for my birthday over the summer, and me and my mom ordered one of their HUGE platters with miso soup. The waitress was really cool and such a sweetheart. She brought out this special ice cream, I think it was called moochie, and she told me it was on the house and it was my birthday gift. Great service, and the food was AMAZING.
