Eat there often and get take out atleast once a week for my brother and have never heard a complaint from him and trust me he complains about everything so for me that says a lot about the place. The soups are always homemade and have yet to have one that was less than perfect. It does get busy at times as do all places with quality food regardless of the wait the food is worth it. The staff is always very pleasant and give off the feeling of being at home. I would definitely highly recommend stopping in and believe it will become one of your favorite places it certainly has become mine. Oh don’t forget to try the wings they are excellent

Bartender was the only staff member with a full bar of people. He was very tentative to our needs and was hopping around everywhere. Food was excellent!!!!

On 7/21/23 myself and a friend had lunch at the Burnin Barrel. The bill came to $44.39. I added a $9.00 tip to the bill and paid by credit card. On 7/23/23 I checked my credit card statement. The charge was $44.39 it didn't include the tip. I drove over to the Burnin Barrel and waited until it opened at noon. I was the first one to enter. I went to the lady behind the bar and explained that the charge didn't include the $9.00 tip. I gave her cash and requested the waiter receive it. On 7/24/23 I checked my credit card statement again. The original charge had been amended and now included the $9.00 tip. In other words I tipped twice. On 7/25/23 I telephoned the Burnin Barrel and explained the error. The person on the phone became snotty and said, did you get a receipt for the tip in cash? I replied who asks for a receipt for a cash tip? Her response was, there is nothing you can do about it!
Would the word dishonest apply, I think so. Needless to say I will never go there again.
The best place by far on our vacation. Did not think it would be that great. But it's clean, waitress was great, and the food was even better. You don't feel over crowded even though every table was full. Loved it.
Nice meal and good craft beer, though Thursday night menu was not as extensive as the Friday nights we were there the last few years. Still, nice hot fresh food professionally

While out for a drive, we pulled in but the place was dark. Someone came out, said we're open. we have no power. we have chicken bbq for cash only. we said "we're in"! so even when the electric is out, the chicken bbq & beer was spectacular! definitely recommend
