We stopped for lunch while passing through because we we like to try local unique places when we can. The Frog Hut did not disappoint! All kinds of good food on the menu, including a huge variety of ice cream, plus the staff are super friendly. Really great small town vibe, and we'll definitely go there again any time we are in the area
Stopped by for a vanilla cone - my birthday cone. It's a small, counter service restaurant that is very clean and bright. It has an extensive menu including fried chicken and pulled pork. BTW, they smoke the pork outside lin a smoker like a BBQ place would. The service was friendly and fast - your food is made to order so you might have to wait for certain items. They have plenty of tables to eat there or in the car. There's a nice size parking lot - not sure about travel...
