Frome Acres Resort and Baxter's Bakery

Went there about 3 weeks ago on a Sunday. Got some things from the bakery. It was horrible and stale they heated everything up. To make it look fresh. It was 30 dollars I should have bought it back. Unbelievable never again!!!!!

Just what you are looking for after a long drive from out of town. We were 8hrs from NH and had two hungry kids. They did a quick to go order for me. Everyone was happy. This is the kind of place that makes you consider moving to the area, just so you can be a local. And the prices....can't beat it!

Stopped in for a bite to eat and I left fat and happy for just around $10! I got the XL Bacon Cheeseburger with fries, and I was absolutely stuffed after eating it. The flavor was great and the quality was good as well. The service was a 10/10, with everyone from the host to the chef being a pleasure! If I’m ever back in the area, I’ll be sure to stop by.

The breakfast was the only meal we've had so far, but we both enjoyed the food so much and had such a good time chatting with the people there. Our trip was four hours long and this place made the drive worth it.!

Great experience overall, do not pass this place up! The older woman who helped us was so sweet! We got breakfast, coffee, and treats to go. Everything was amazing and prices were fair. We enjoy going to smaller, diner places and this definitely did not disappoint. Would recommend 5/5.

Love it great food truly an mom and pop type of place. I wish I would of came here 24 years ago when I started coming up here for the trout tournament. But for the past 5-6 that I have of the breakfast, ice-cream, an homemade doughnuts and especially especially the homemade sticky buns!!! An how could I forget the night I nearly died kayaking the pine for the 1st time I missed managed the time an about the chiropractor to the bakery I did in the dark. So tired drenched an half scared to death an starving. I went to get food so after striking out everywhere from Asonia to Galeton. I stopped at the Bakery cuz the light was still on to say hi like always b4 heading down to camp. I told Gale my story an she offered to make me something an i Said no
she said ya really that she would. I was speechless. She said well what do ya want I said well I'd l9ve a steak to b honest she laughed as so did I, i went to say something else and so goes well how do u like it done? From that point forward i knew this place would b a life long place i always come to eat! An most of all a lifetime friend from here on out, an here name is Gale!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again Dear!.

Thank you guys for the hospitality. You guys were very welcoming and friendly. My son loved the cookies and cream ice cream.

I wish we could have stayed to enjoy Easter Sunday with y'all, if only we didn't have other plans and we're not running behind schedule.

Anyway, I promised you positive feedback and I also promise you that we will visit you guys again when we come back to wellsboro.

We just wanted something sweet so we got a slice of pie, it was delicious but it was $5 for a very small slice of coconut pie. My husband got a fruit pie it had rhubarb and other fruit in it and a small scoop of ice cream $6.

Historic family restaurant. I had the hot beef sandwich and mashed potatoes. Good old-fashioned food. They made us some hoagies to take along for later, and they were also very good.

Updated. This is the second time I have met a Friend, that now lives in this area, when I am up in Tioga. The Breakfast was even better than the first time. The staff and the regular customer's are very friendly and welcoming. I had driven past here for year's and that is my loss. I wish I had given them a try sooner. I will certainly be stopping here again.

Today 7/20/24 my wife and I purchased 2 cake donuts and a cinnamon roll @ 11am. When we stopped for a picnic at noon we tried eating these baked goods but they were totally stale and very dry. They should have never been for sale. I would not even buy them for half price. Do not buy from this bakery.

Excellent meal. We had breakfast. All homemade, real maple syrup, and great service. Prices are great! It looks like a dump from the outside but clean inside. Try the fresh baked cinnamon rolls!!!!
