My wife had a burger as usual. Unfortunately it was just mediocre compared to burgers she had elsewhere. I had tidal berry risotto which scallops.The Risotto and the scallops were very good but only came with two scallops. I think this was a totally inadequate amount for a dinner entree. We each had a glass of wine. While the wine tasted good, the amount of the pour was stingy.

Visited during STPR 2025 and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The smash burger and kids meals were great and the beer selection was top notch! The decoration of the walls was like if Doc Brown from Back to the Future opened a restaurant, great vibe. Would happily return anytime we're in the area! Expect 10-20$/person, without drinks or apps

I've always wanted to stop by here but never had the chance. Well I finally stopped by the other day and this exceeded all of my expectations. This is not your typical mom and pop hole in the wall restaurant. I would say this is a more upscale restaurant with incredibly unique items and a very diverse menu. All of my food was out of this world, the waiter did a wonderful job recommending my burger which I believe was the peanut butter and jealousy Burger as well as my appetizers which I can't remember the names but I have provided photos and it was quite delicious. This place is worth a stop and it's a good place to just sit down and cool off and grab a bite to eat if you have the time.

I was in the area on Monday and decided too drop in and the biggest thing too catch my eye was one of the cooks running around doing so much for the store. And on Tuesday i was walking the ally behind the store and that same guy was busting his ass cleaning all the greasy stuff. that man is a legend too dedication! Almost Anytime I walk out by that kitchen Thats the guy I see busting ass so proud we have people like that in our town!

Their friendly bartenders are available to prepare/shake up your favorite beverages, whether alcoholic or non-alcoholic, and you will certainly be impressed with all the choices offered. Once you visit, you will want to return repeatedly. Whether it is appetizers and beverages, lunch, dinner, or a delightful dessert, The Roost will satisfy your taste buds. I personally recommend "The Smash" or the "Chef's Smash" for lunch, and the clam chowder is so YUMMY. I could get myself in trouble if I start telling you my favorite dessert ... ALL OF THEM! I am delighted to know of this exceptional place ~ nestled in on Main Street in the cozy town of Wellsboro, just miles from "the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania." It has my recommendation for great dining and more.

Our favorite place to go to whether eating or stopping by for their signature coffee or a cocktail (many are new). The Roost has upgraded a lot and has a great variety of food, drinks, and Specials. The Servers are always friendly and attentive too. In addition they have bands that come and perform as well! I can’t say enough good about “The Roost”!

Very nice atmosphere and decore. The food was excellent, as was the drinks. Three of the four in our group had their craft beers and one had the Eggnog expresso martini. We will most definitely be going back in the future.

Came in to get out of the cold & loved the menu! Two of us ordered beautiful hot chocolates & our server brought little tastes for everyone bc she made a little extra. Sweet potato fries appetizer was amazing, and everyone loved their sandwiches. Smashburger was amazing and lots of veggie / vegan options.
