This was interesting is the most I could say. The place itself is nice but that was truly the extent of it, food was over-seasoned, without flavor, undercooked and overcooked all in one nauseating bundle! I truly didn’t think that was an option! There is a 50/50 chance that the food was bought from the dollar general down the road and microwaved. The descriptions of the menu items don’t match the food and was possibly the most misleading, unfilling, diseased looking food (if you can call it that) i’ve had in a long time. The water and other drinks in this place don’t taste right and have a weird aftertaste that is with me long after i and the others in my group left and ate other food. But the food isn’t even the extent of it, this place is hostile for no reason, the patrons, regulars, and staff acted straight out of a horror movie, stopping conversations, turning heads, and staring at my entire party unprompted. The waitress looked like we threatened her after being asked to leave a couple toppings off a burger, and only became cheerful when we asked for the check to leave. There is 100% a reason the lights are so dim an I can tell you it’s not for the atmosphere.I can not say this enough, go to mcdonald’s down the street at this point because they’d be more friendly and you’d get something edible at least.

The only reason this has more than a one is because the atmosphere is nice. It’s cute and quaint which saves it a star. From the start we were uncomfortable, the second we walked in everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at us, both staff and patrons. If it was in a movie you’d hear the record scratch on the stereo. We were sat right away at least but staff looked at us weird, gave weird looks when we ordered, and were all too happy to see us get the bill and go. Then the food, I’m basic and easy to please yet I didn’t even drink my entire glass of water. The water itself tasted horrible, I can’t even say it was an aftertaste because the entire taste of it was bad for any form of standard tap water. I got the roost burger which had a great sauce but the burger itself tasted like poorly seasoned meatloaf rather than a juicy burger. Can’t be from the sauce though since someone I dined with got a fully plain burger and it also tasted like poorly seasoned meatloaf. The fries were soggy, undercooked, and over salted. The tots were seasoned the same way as the burger except with no meat to absorb it you were just blasted with bad taste. The meatball parm flatbread was more similar to a frozen and then heated up pizza. You could get better at an Aldis. It was overall disappointing to say the least. The poor taste is still stuck in my mouth nearly an hour later despite chewing gum and drinking regular tasting water.

Excellent food, but the experience was ruined by service and surprise charges.
The waitress offered dill dressing with our fries, then charged $1.50 per cup without mentioning there was a fee. I ordered a 6-oz coffee for $3.50 and was then charged another $3.50 for a refill—again, with no warning. These small but undisclosed add-on charges completely undermine an otherwise good meal. Pricing like this should be explained up front. Finding out only when the bill arrives feels underhanded and is not the kind of business practice I want to support.

This place is one of the coolest places I've been to in a while. Great food, exceptional cocktails and our server, Sheena was terrific. The roost is an absolute gem.

Food was average and come out cold. Drinks were okay but all cocktails were dessert cocktails. Service seemed short staffed but was very slow. Took about 15 mins to get drinks once seated. Seemed they had the right ideas but the execution was not there.

We tried out the new Fall Menu and it was excellent! We tried the French onion meatball sandwich and the shrimp pasta, both fantastic. Hannah was outstanding waitress. Will absolutely try more!

Great place but towards the end of the night asking for one more drink before I got my food to go turned into somebody threatening to kick my ass, which was I’m assuming an employee. I’m not the violent type, but I’m also not gonna be threatened. What I should’ve done was called the police during that moment. And yes will not be going back! Other spots in the area to be at it is a good spot
