We went in with the intention of having a cocktail and app, but stayed for a meal too. Cocktails were handcrafted and awesome. The meal and app were large, filling, and tasty. The service was top notch. Special shout out to Anthony and the woman(forgot her name) working with him. They made sure our experience was amazing. Wellsburo is worth a visit and definitely visit The Roost.

We loved the decor and atmosphere, and we had seasonal drinks that were awesome. My husband had a cup of chili and the fish and chips, and he enjoyed both. I had a cup of the chicken stew, which was tasty, although not what I expected (super rich and without any detectable chicken). I ordered the chicken Marsala, which was absolutely horrible. I ate a few bites and left the rest. I’m not a complainer and I was full from the soup, so I didn’t send it back, but I probably should...

We visited Wellsboro on a spontaneous adventure. The Roost was a highlight of a really fantastic trip! Our waiter was new and had a few hiccups, but he had the best personality. I wasn't upset in the slightest and really appreciated the fact that he tried so hard to make the (very minor) mistakes correct. The food was phenomenal. 6 stars.
