First time, in town for work. Amazing experience from the moment we walked in the door, to our waitress (Jordyn)-who was attentive and paid attention to every detail. The dinner - salmon, steak, shrimp and sides - top notch!! Definitely will be back.

The Steak House was very nice! The food is great, and so is the service! The place is also very decorated and very very lively! I will say, if you decide to get the black gold steak, it is VERY garlicky. The initial garlic flavor is good, but after chewing for a bit, and once you swallow, it's like you got a garlic gunshot in the mouth, which is unpleasant. Overall, great place, great food, great service.

First of all the name is Steakhouse so to me this says it should be a top notch steak place & 2nd of all the prices indicate that they should be. I ordered a delmonico steak medium well & it should've been seasoned & cooked properly to not need any steak sauce, but it wasn't. My sweet potato was good but not very big. We were celebrating our 10th Anniversary & from out of town & don't usually spend that amount of money on food. I was highly disappointed for the the cost & what appeared to be a high-end restaurant. Will not return on our next visit or recommend this place.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Steak House twice in one week. The impeccably made crab cakes with fresh sides could never be outdone. I was wrong on that point. I decided to go with a sirloin and shrimp for the second seating and talk about out of the park! My medium rare steak was cooked to perfection and was accompanied by succulent, perfectly prepared shrimp. All the sides were hot and fresh, including the not too creamy, not to stiff mashed potatoes. I came to learn that the chef was a ten year veteran of the house, and it showed. Geoff and Christna are both the owners and very welcoming hosts that made my stay in Wellsboro quite memorable, and I highly recommend that if you're in a 100-mile radius of the Steak House, enjoy a memorable evening with a well prepared meal served by a super friendly and competent staff.

1st time there, worst steak I ever had. Got the delmonico asked for medium came out rare, sent it back still wasn't any better , absolutely no taste at all, even A1 didn't help it. Pretty bad when the salad is the star of the show. Won't be going back there again!!!!
