The course today was in excellent condition except for a few tee boxes. Fairways were nice and the greens rolled true. Not too lengthy, but the premium is keeping the tee ball in the fairway to hit it on the small greens. A hidden gem of a Tillinghast design. Fun to play. Tyler, the pro, was very accommodating. Will definitely play it again. If you’re anywhere in the Lancaster, Harrisburg, Allentown area, make the effort to find it.
A short drive from Ephrata for excellent food and service. My wife had steak and I had stuffed shrimp. It was our second time there. Did I mention it is very clean, and has nice views of the golf course.
Wonderful atmosphere and food... from the more formal restaurant upstairs with pleasant view of the golf course, to the more casual dining downstairs... food was excellent, and as the restaurant was doing a "dine and donate" event, we were giving back to charity even as we ate... thanks for supporting the local community, Galen Hall Golf Club!!!
