Really really really good Chinese food. We would eat here more often but it's not where we live. I grew up eating Chinese food and my parents approved of this place as well.

Wasn't very good food...ordered take out. The chicken broccoli was bland. The eggrolls were just under burnt..and the spare ribs had a game like taste to them. Spent almost 100 bucks. Won't make that mistake again. Only reason I gave 2 stars was because the soup was good. But for the price you pay at least 17$ each small round containers the food should be better. Won't go back, ever.

After a year, my girlfriend and I had the pleasure of returning to Hunan Springs. The interior is full of flavor and texture, and the dark wood contributes to the comfort level. Alice took care of us and she was absolutely wonderful. Kind and helpful, her recommendations were spot on -- as well as the dry martinis she served. My girlfriend had the sweet and sour chicken, which was both plentiful and tasty. The chicken was fresh and tender. The sauce was plentiful and well balanced. She also got a plate of the vegetable lo mein, which was light and delicious. Thanks to Alice's recommendation, I ordered the lobster special with ginger and scallion. When I order sushi and it's phenomenal, I close my eyes and embrace it. Now, this lobster was so perfectly prepared and came with such a delectable taste, I did the same thing. After dinner, we shared a dessert that filled in any gaps we had left. We departed with leftovers (sans lobster), full bellies, and happy hearts as well as an incredible desire to return to one of the area's best restaurants.

After a long day I decided to sit down with my wife and try a place I heard had phenomenal Chinese food. Unfortunately the general tso's was a huge disappointment in what I felt was a watered down slightly sweet ketchup based sauce that didn't taste remotely like any general tsos chicken ive ever had. It was also luke warm while my wife's entree was nice and hot. Fortunately she enjoyed hers, and the service was good.

I've been to Chinese restaurants all over the globe. This is the only restaurant literally in the world that refuses to substitute fried rice for steamed rice.
