Everything was fantastic. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was awesome. I used to work in fine dining, and I tend to be very picky (snob) and 9Prime lived up to every expectation that I expect when I dine at a fine dining restaurant. You won't be disappointed. Be sure to observe the entire restaurant and remember that it used to be a bank. You won't believe all the history and details that the restaurant offers.

Lovely setting, Meal for 7 cost over $900 with tip. Soups were marginal - outer onion peel in French; bread was great but $14; salads were OK; steaks were nothing special - my wife's was half gristle; deserts were great; service was outstanding, If you more money than brains, give it a go! .

I really wanted to love this place but unfortunately it fell way short of expectations. As a foodie and frequent resultant goer, I was looking forward to a nice high end steak house conveniently located in West Chester. The vibes are great and the decor is excellent, however that’s where the praise stops. The service was slow from the start (however our waitress was great - she took amazing care of us all night). Drinks took a while to arrive, entrees came nearly 2 hours after we were sat. The appetizers were good (Caesar salad, calamari and Bank Rolls - would order those again). When the entrees did finally arrive, they were decent at best. All of the steaks (everyone at the table ordered the upgraded options included Wagyu and dry aged special steaks) were cold when they got to us. The scallops (both the actual dinner dish as well as side ordered scallops to go with the steak) were cold. The Wagyu was cold and really wasn’t worth the price - when we confronted the manager we were basically told that we didn’t know how steak was supposed to be served as if we’ve never eaten Wagyu before and simply weren’t educated. It was clear that the food all had been sitting out for some time before arriving at our table. All in all, average experience for what was supposed to be a high end steak house experience. I do not plan on returning as there are many other options in WC.

THE very best! Every dish we ordered was amazing. Our server, Jacqueline, was knowledgeable and super nice and the bar staff made the yummiest drinks. Totally worth the drive.

Positives: Restaurant is pretty and well created. Service was fantastic. We ordered a bottle of wine and it was well prepared and delicious.
Negatives: Food was not what i could expect out of a steakhouse. We ordered the smoked burrata. Whoever put that on the menu needs to re-think that option as it was terrible. My wife ordered the lobster pasta dish which didn't have much flavor just melted butter on soft noodles with almost no lobster. Steak was decent and well cooked but nothing that would blow me away for the price.
I would recommend coming here if it is for a special occasion or first time trying. I would not suggest to come here as west chester has better options to offer.

Unfair dismissal treatment after a patron is removed because of another inform of one’s face … instead they ask the victim to remove themselves

9Prime is a beautiful establishment, has the bank/steakhouse vibes, they have the cool vault room and the vault doors on display. My filet was good. The truffle fries were amazing.
But unfortunately the staff needs to work on attention to detail.
Tuesday night dinner. Mostly empty which was nice. Except we were seated right next to the kitchen door and right next to a very loud family with a very vocal baby. I think when the restaurant is 90% empty don’t put 2 separate sets of 2, us and another bookending a loud crew.
Wife is dairy free. Our sides dishes were all wrong. My sides were dairy free. My wife got dairy on her sides. So they needed to give those another try … We got our sides about 30 mins after we finished our steaks. Attention to detail of writing things down so sides aren’t sent back then received & boxed as soon as they land to the table.
The fries were the best part. Saved half of them for my in-laws babysitting back at the ranch… We asked to have everything boxed. But somehow when we got home… the fries never got boxed.
Timely ordering somehow not timely food…. We asked for multiple starters. Specifically 2 apps as soon as we sat down at 6pm. We started eating those apps over an hour later.
Dietary restrictions: After multiple conversations regarding dairy free the orders for our side dishes were not replaced correctly.

Nine Prime in Midtown Westchester is a stunning new steakhouse that brings elegance and charm to an old bank building. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was breathtaking, with the unique architecture and restored bank details, including a walk-through of the old bank vault area—a fun and unexpected feature that adds to its unique vibe.
The food and drinks were fantastic. We started with an espresso martini and their special “Summer Water” cocktail, both refreshing and expertly crafted. For appetizers, we tried the seafood bisque and calamari, which were both flavorful and well-prepared. Naturally, we couldn’t leave without ordering their signature steaks, which were cooked to perfection. Every dish was delicious and made the experience memorable, though it is a bit on the pricey side.
Overall, Nine Prime is a must-visit if you’re in Midtown Westchester and looking for an upscale dining experience in a beautifully transformed space. Highly recommend!

I was a regular customer starting ≈ April 2024, (5 nights a week) spending ≈ $100 each visit. On schedule to spend around $24,500 a year ($500 wk. X 49 wks.). New manager, Scott, came on board ≈ 09/01/2024. Since I was a regular customer, I asked him if my soda, $4.00 ($980 per year), could be a complementary charge due to my loyalty (I based this on several previous high-end restaurants I have frequented over the last 30 years that obliged). He told me 9Prime was in business to make money and not a charity. FYI... a 12 oz soda cost a restaurant about 28¢, roughly $75 per year. What a fool!! Gives up a gross increase of sales of $23,520. Guess he never heard of good will or customer service. Due to this I have decreased my visits substantially. The food, for the most part is okay. Furthermore, I visited on 10/18, 10/24, and 10/29. I always get a medium filet mignon. On 10/18 it took over an hour to get my food AND the steak had to go back twice because it was under done the first time and then overdone the second. On 10/24 my steak was underdone and had to go back twice and on 10/29 my steak had to go back twice. On each occasion I asked to speak to a manager and each time no manager showed up. I am done with this place.

Welcome, gentlemen, to 9 Prime. The Philadelphia region’s most premier dining experience. Astronauts, war heroes, Olympians--you're here because you want to eat the best, and this is it. So: Who is ready to eat? Me. That’s who.
Right away we were met by our server, Jessica. Great service. Pretty as a postcard, too. Sorry, fellas. She's married. *To science.*
If you ordered the Seafood Tower, you also volunteered to be injected with praying mantis DNA. In which case, I've got some good news and some bad news.
Bad news is the restaurant is postponing those snails for the menu indefinitely. Good news is they’ve got a much better test for you: fighting an army of mantis men. Pick up a fork and follow the yellow line. You'll know when the test starts.
Are the steaks here delicious? Of course they are. But that isn’t the point. If we can store music on a compact disc, why can't we store a man's intelligence and personality on one? I have the engineers figuring that out now while I enjoy the lobster butter and wagyu.
Just a heads-up for dessert: That coffee they gave you earlier had fluorescent calcium in it so they can track the neuronal activity in your brain. There's a slight chance the calcium could harden and vitrify your frontal lobe. Anyway, don't stress yourself thinking about it. I'm serious. Visualizing the scenario while under stress actually triggers the reaction.
