Baan Thai Sabaidee

The real thing, food is great. Very simple decor, not flashy. Service people friendly and attentive but could be more familiar with the food for people who aren’t familiar with Thai food.

I went here because they are a “sister” to a Thai restaurant I love in Media and have rated a five Star experience.
Baan Thai Sabaidee comes nowhere near.
When you walk in the restaurant is about 55 to 60 degrees. I told the waitress it was freezing inside and she said this is how I like it!? Two ladies came in wearing coats and began to ask me about the menu. They said they had gone out to their car to get coats because it was so cold inside.
I ordered a bowl of chicken soup with dumplings and it was good. Then I ordered the cashew chicken dish. I have had the chicken cashew nut at media several times and it’s always excellent.
Here it came out with the chicken fried!
The chicken was like fried rocks and I did not eat it. When the waitress came back she wanted to know if my order was all right. I asked her to,see the menu again and the chicken with cashew nut says nothing about being fried. I have ordered chicken with cashew nuts at many different Thai restaurants and it has NEVER been fried. This waitress insisted it’s always fried here.
I cannot recall such a waitress who does not give a damn about her customers.
She brought out my check and charged me the full price for everything.
I will NEVER go to Baan Thai Sabaidee again. I want to enjoy my food and enjoy my hospitality. Baan Thai Sabaidee offers neither.

The Chiang Mai noodles were absolutely incredible. Delicious curry with perfect level of spice, plenty of veggies.

Excellent lunch menu at a super affordable price. I had the Massaman Curry, and it included a soup and appetizer (I had Golden Triangles -tofu, and Coconut Soup). The entire meal was delicious. Some of the best food that I've had in a while.

My girlfriend is thai and her family gets food Togo from here, I got chicken/tofu pad thai here and it was awesome! Definitely get to go, very large portion

The little lady that takes orders always has a nasty attitude and gives side eyes. I watched as she served the white customers and Asian customers water while me and my black sista sat there with no water until we asked. She has a very smart mouth she needs to be gone. We found a hair in one of our meals she told us it was a cloth from a towel instead of apologizing about the inconvenience. Food was tasty tho so I will be back.

We love thai food. Of all the thai restaurants we have been to, this stand at the bottom! Food was not tasty. Drunken noodles were over cooked. Soup we ordered wasn't tasty at all. Only thing which was good were spring rolls.
All thr wait staff so busy that even after noticing multiple times that we were waiting, noone came. We had to literally call out to them.

this is a review from a black woman in Weat Chester. I came to get A was very excited and paid at pick up. The service was very passive aggressive, I received multiple side eyes when I asked for condiments that I was told we’re already in my order. Overall, a very dismissive experience would not recommend.

My family and I have been coming here for several years...Take out and dine in. They have delicious Pad Thai and soup! We always enjoy the food. It is authentic and spicy. Service is always quick and considerate...even when I ask for honey for my jasmine tea I throw them for a loop every time but they find honey somewhere for me lol!
