I'm really not sure how this place could have a rating of 4.2 out of 5 stars. I'm giving it a 2, which is generous, and the reason is because it's been around forever and is a local business which I'm all about. But besides that, this place is not good. The food was OK at best. When we walked in the guy cooking was yelling at the woman he was working with, who I think was his daughter. It was dark inside, and felt like if you hadn't been going there for 40 years you weren't welcome. I'm glad we tried it, but we wont be back.

What a great place for breakfast. Friendly staff, good food prepared how we wanted it, and reasonable prices. If we lived in the area it would be a regular place for us to eat and take guests. We're looking forward to going back for lunch another day. Plus Gay St. is a fun, charming area to walk and browse rhe shops.
