This was the first time we ate here and I am so glad we found this restaurant! The food was delicious and the menu was very well rounded. Something for everyone. Our server was very nice and helpful with the menu. It is a smaller place, so make sure you reserve your spot. We will be returning!

I've been to Dolce Zola on five occasions and each time I go, the service and food is fantastic! I definitely recommend the Chicken Parmigiana and the Braised Short Rib Ragu!

An authentic Italian BYOB with truly incredible food, flavorful, and exactly what you’d hope for in a hidden gem. Cannot recommend more highly.

Absolutely amazing authentic homemade Italian restaurant with excellent service and great atmosphere. The food was out of this world! Highly recommend if you’re looking for REAL authentic homemade Italian food made from scratch!! Side note it was advertised as BYOB but they are now serving drinks and wine!

Go to Limoncello instead! I am very disappointed to have to post this review. This place used to be my favorite restaurant in West Chester and I’ve went there several times over the years and have recommended to so many. I had family visiting me in West Chester from far away for the weekend and I took them here on the only day we could get dinner in WC. We made reservations and the restaurant told us when our food came when I asked why they didn’t bring bread and sauce, they told us that they ran out of bread (how does an Italian restaurant run out of something that you get charged for through higher menu prices and do nothing about it). We asked to try one of their sauces for my little brother and she never brought it out. 10 minutes after we ordered she told us that they were out of one of the pastas we ordered (even though they claim to make all of their food from scratch everyday). We paid for soft drinks with free refills and she never asked or gave us any refills and never asked how our food was. The bill came to $177 for 4 adults and 1 child and the portions were absurdly small and I left feeling ripped off. My mom and I both ordered the $33 Pescatore (with crab and shrimp) and there was hardly any seafood in the dish (just noodles and sauce). I used to never finish my plates there and we left hungry. As a restaurant how can you run out of things like bread, sauce, and pastas for customers with reservations and not provide refills for customers who pay for soft drinks. At least have the courtesy to tell your customers before they order that you are out of things. They were clearly trying to rush us out so they could close despite not being busy at all. So disappointing. The bathrooms were also disgusting. Not sure what happened to this place. I always tip 30%-50%, not this time.

We had a great dinner at Dolce Zola before a concert at Uptown! We started with a Caesar salad and it was delicious! Our entrees were, smoked salmon pasta dish and the eggplant parm. I couldn't decide what pasta to have, so at our waitress's recommendation, I let the chef choose for me! Both were amazing dishes. My only critique is the bread. I didn't care for the the bread, a small round piece with marinara and cheese on top. I would prefer, warmed bread with dipping oil.

We had a really nice dinner with our family to celebrate my husband's birthday. Our server was really great. He made good recommendations when asked. We tried a variety of appetizers and four pastas. All were very good, and we are picky about Italian food. The clear standout was the duck pappardelle! Very nice evening. We will be back when we visit our daughter in West Chester.

Excellent! All 5 of us loved our entrees…excellent caprese and ricotta appetizers. I was DD so I didn’t get to explore their drink menu too much, but the rest of the party loved their cocktails and wine choices!

this was our 3rd visit to Dolce Zola, each was excellent.
initially went on the recommendation from a friend: found the food to be wonderful - many flavors and creative options... the service was always prompt and friendly... and the setting was quiet and comfortable, relaxed, not stuffy. we felt at home and definitely plan to return.
