Update: Since El Gran moved and changed their menu a few years ago, I no longer care for their house margarita or molcajete. Their burrito fajitas are still good and my latest go to is pina loca which is delish. The service continues to be great. I absolutely love the white sauce that comes with the chips.

Original: Always great good and service. This is my favorite local Mexican restaurant. The molcajete and burrito fajitas are my usual go to dishes.

Great indoor and outdoor seating. Chips and two salsas are complimentary. The enchiladas, especially chicken and spinach, are great, in part thanks to the mole sauce.

Unfortunately the menu has been updated but the menu on the website does not reflect that. I ordered a chicken fajita quesadilla which was supposed to come with guacamole and asked specifically when I called in the order if it did. Was assured that it did, on the side. However there was no guacamole. I was told that I would have to bring back my half eaten meal in order to pick up some guacamole or get some sort of refund. I am disappointed with this type of service from a restaurant that I often order takeout from. I prefer to actually get what I was supposed to paying for according to the actual website menu. I'm unlikely to be ordering again.

Its a shame that the food is good and the waiter we had was very accommodating, because the hostess ruined the night for us. Maybe have someone at the front with a better attitude and maybe more people would want to come. Only rated service a 5 star because our waiter was nice, fast, and attentive. Food was great. Just needs a better hostess.

I waited 25 minutes after the scheduled time for a pick up order only to have two entrees missing and had to return to the restaurant. No explanation or ownership.

We went and got a quesadilla and my boyfriend’s food had a hair in it so we asked for them to remake it, the food came out and had yet ANOTHER hair in it. The waitress went and got the manager and he just walks up without saying a word. We then say there’s another hair in our food and the manager said “oh i don’t think that’s a hair” and rolled his eyes and asks if we wanted anything else. Said no and asked for the bill and proceeded to take 15 minutes to even return back. Why would you risk a hair being in your food and say you “think” it’s not a hair. Will not be returning at all and such a shame because this place used to be good.

My boyfriend and I come here all the time and we love to sit at the bar. The spicy margarita is always delicious and the service is phenomenal! Love coming here! Food is also great- I love the burritos 🌯

The service was great, quick, and very efficient. Great atmosphere with very friendly staff. Prices were fair enough and great portions of food. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Mexican-style dishes.
