Good atmosphere, and the food was pleasant, though nothing was extraordinary or particularly creative, which is what we have come to expect from - and love about - Vedge. However, the restaurant staff soured the experience, as we were made to feel quite uncomfortable about one member of our party (4 people) staying home due to illness, and us being nine minutes late. I understand this is a small restaurant, and we would have been happy to pay for our absentee friend’s meal had this been the restaurant’s policy, but this was not discussed. Instead, communication with us became what I can only describe as passive-aggressive, with us being asked several times about our friend being sick, them mentioning *twice* that we were late (again, it was nine minutes), then ushering us out immediately after bringing the check…. because we were so late.

Fabulous food - six course tasting menu, and fabulous rustic setting with free parking. This place is a winner. I took a carnivore and he thought this was one of the best meal he ever had. I can't wait to go back.

Menu balances hearty classics with creative flavors

The whole experience was fantastic—I felt like I was in a Disney treehouse. The food was incredible, like tasting a magical cloud that turned into a symphony of flavors in my mouth. Even the bathroom was cozy and spotless, just like at home.

Had an amazing birthday dinner for my husband here! While. Skeptical of vegan food, I had an amazing experience. Every dish served as part of the tasting menu was flavorful and perfect. Had a great wine - Menancia a Spanish red. Highly recommend this place. Service was excellent!

As a restaurant critic for Gannett in South Florida and a mother visiting her strict vegetarian daughter in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, I was beyond thrilled to discover Ground Provisions outside West Chester. This sophisticated yet friendly, cozy, 100% plant-based restaurant more than delivered an outstanding dining experience for the whole family, even those of us who are not vegetarian. We were all enamored by the sumptuous celery root bisque, beautiful and tasty badger flame beet crudo, mustard-glazed maitake mushroom risotto, and so much more from Executive Chef Brandon Beringer's brilliant, ever-changing prix fixe tasting menu. Pastry Chef Nora Wilson knocks it out of the park with her fragrant and delicious breads and dreamy desserts. Her macerated strawberry lemon cake with coconut buttercream and fennel syrup was a trip to heaven. Anyone who appreciates the artistry of a finely curated multi-course dining experience featuring fresh ingredients from local farms will be enchanted and ever so satisfied at Ground Provisions. Phenomenal! Creative and delicious dishes with excellent service in a really cozy atmosphere. Most of the people in my party were omnivores and they were very impressed with all of the vegan dishes. We will definitely be back.

Fun Friday night birthday dinner! Came half an hour early for our 730pm reservation and were able to be seated with no wait. All of the courses were really fresh and tasty :) the waiter explained each dish once placing it on the table. Adored the dessert (with candles for our birthdays :))! Plenty of parking. Good, calm vibes.
