We had a delicious lunch at High Street today! As always the food was amazing!!! The service was friendly and quick and again the food was fabulous. While we chose to spend a bit more, due to celebrating our anniversary, one could easily have lunch for a modest price. We had mentioned our special day and when the bananas foster (YUM!!!) came out for our dessert, we were very touched to see the extra flair they added to it. If you've never been, or it's been a while - go! You'll be really happy you did!

Jambalaya salad chicken was a bit bland and tough. Honey mustard took it over which wasn't expected. BYOB is a plus.

Always an excellent meal at High Street. Food is excellent, owner is awesome, and staff can’t be beat. Be sure to save room for their amazing desserts!

My mom, my sister and I came in last night for a dinner. First off the ambiance is so cool and inviting. We were seated and greeted by a very kind server who shared her thoughts and recommendations on the menu. The meal was fantastic, all of her recommendations were perfect! We had the best dinner and best service. Will be back!

Had dinner on 2/28/25. We shared starters of blacken alligator and pork dumplings. I followed with the special of fried catfish over jumbolia and finished the meal with bananas foster. Incredible food...not one bite left on any our plates. Wait staff very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. One of the absolute best meals I have the pleasure of enjoying in all of West Chester. Definately shall return!

I've always loved this place! I think they have the best Cajun in the area. It had been a long time since I'd been able to go here to eat, but I was happy to see that the food is still excellent and the staff is still warm and kind. I will always suggest this place!

Had dinner a few nights ago.
We hadn't been up to West Chester in some time but the High Street was just as I remembered.. excellent!
Delicious bisque and seared scallops. I'll be heading back soon.

The food isn't what it used to be. Grew up coming here pretty sporadically, previously having high opinions. This time, the portions were stingy and it was clear where they skimped out. The jambalya was mushy and kind of sticky. The rice was definitely overcooked too. Our food was not seasoned very well, with there being very little salt and not much spice either. The quality of the food did not live up to the price point. No complaints about the server.

When writing this review, we found out from other reviews and articles that the staff left en masse because of the owner's racism. His attitude and comments, much like the food, are disgusting. I had high hopes for this place, but I will not be coming back.

If I could give this review 10 stars I would. Not only because of the food but the staff. My mother is in a wheelchair and they were so accommodating. Held the door open for her and were so kind and patient. They made sure we had a table to by the door and it was a perfect evening!

The food. Everything, EVERYTHING was outstanding. The soup is the best crab bisque I’ve ever had and the blacked chicken and shrimp with dirty rice is was so flavorful! Everyone enjoyed their meals so much and the atmosphere is incredible. I can’t say enough about this place. My absolute favorite in West Chester.

Phenomenal. Excellent cajun food. The owner is an inviting and affable host; service was top-notch, too. I stopped in without any expectations and was drawn to this place because they had gumbo. Everything I had was EXCELLENT. The bread, the gumbo, the jambalaya, the creme brulee, even the coffee (had a hint of cinnamon in it, which was a nice touch, in my opinion). If you are looking for something different, delicious, and reasonably priced: this is the place to try. I will most definitely be returning the next time I am in town.

This place offers takeout as well as dine-in. We just got takeout for the whole family, and we eat the food here about a few times a year. The food here is spectacularly delicious and high quality. The chefs know what they’re doing. It’s not overly-seasoned. The staff are some very great people too <3
