Been going here since I was 22, I’m 25 now and last night Dwayne decided my ID he’s been checking for the past 3 years was fake. After calling the cops to come check it (Fair, i wouldn’t want to lose my liquor license either) he came over and told me he was going to kick me out when I tried to give him my gov. issued medical card, and Law School ID. Dwayne concluded the night by lambasting me in front of his patrons in a very immature manner, and wasting borough resources on a regular customer since college. Very disappointed in Dwayne, but will say Jake’s used to be the premier little dive bar in WC, it’s a shame Dwayne wants to behave in this manner, ruins the energy of the bar and beer.

Wow. I have never experienced such horrible service. The owner took my (25 year old) I.D. on a Monday night, claiming it was fake, it was not. He then called the police and as we waited he verbally assaulted and berated both me and my significant other and tried to kick us out while he had possession of our identification. I have been to this establishment previously and have never had an issue. It seems like the owner was on a power trip and refused to admit he was wrong. Such a shame, it used to be a good place, the owner ruined it, even his own employees admitted he was being unreasonable.

This bar has lost its touch. Was a great place 10 years ago, now college kids have taken over. Dwayne horrible bartender and very disrespectful. Raz needs to do some work and make it better. This is the place where you lose your soul lol ?!!!!!! Its a Joke Now.Cash only because they don't pay taxes!!! Absolute Joke Bar now. Only go of your willing.
