One of the best sushi locations in PA. Rolls were fantastic. Even my guest who eat sushi a lot were impressed.

The restaurant itself was quite dirty — the booth seating was worn, the wall décor was peeling, water was dripping from the AC unit, fingerprints covered the glass, and the tables were dirty and uneven.

While the atmosphere could have been forgiven if the food had been excellent, it wasn’t. The mussels we ordered — five of them — were undercooked and unopened, and the rest of the food was just average. After eating, I went home with an upset stomach. I thought it might have been just me, but my friend experienced the same thing. We suspect the food wasn’t fresh. The server was also not very attentive on a slow night.

Our server was so nice and accommodating. She made sure our son's allergies were seriously considered by the kitchen staff and that means everything to us. Food was fantastic!!

Typically love kooma but was disappointed with my service this evening. I ordered take out and paid with cash- she brought me my food and said have a great night with no change. Not only did she assume my change was a tip but I got home to a sad scene; tempura with no dipping sauce. Super bummed about the service and the incomplete meal.

We love trying different restaurants in West Chester, and Kooma was one we'll definitely return to. We were able to find street parking luckily. We visited lunchtime. Our server, a student at Pitt, brought our drinks quickly; they do have a full bar. She gave us ample time to review the extensive menu and answered questions thoroughly. We placed our order and food was delivered to our table in a reasonable amount of time. Everything was delicious!! Food and beverages prices are typical, not overly priced. We really enjoyed Kooma and look forward to returning.

Haven’t been here in years and we had an amazing, affordable, delish, birthday dinner. From the hostess to the bartenders, wait staff and manager everything was exceptional. Thank you for making our dinner special!!

I've been over a few times and enjoy the food. Especially the cast iron pot bibimbap dishes.

I live in WC and frequent Kooma every other month or so.

This review is constructive criticism for Kooma, so you can do better. First, the restaurant always smells like cleaning chemicals. This needs to stop. Second, my tables are almost always sticky when I sit down. They need to be clean and rarely are. Third, your staff cleans tables with a spray bottle of cleaner. I was sitting and eating while your staff cleaned a table next to me and sprayed cleaner. I don't want to smell or taste your cleaning products. This seems like an amateur thing for an established restaurant to do. Use a bucket of clean starsan and sanitize tables without over spraying cleaner in the dining room. And last, it seems like it has been years since the restaurant had an update. When I go in, often chairs are broken, tables wobble. The place is just getting older. I think its time to dump some money back into the place and hold it down as WC's longest tenured sushi spot...amidst new competitors showing up regularly. Aside from that, the food is usually good. No complaints.

Food was fresh and delicious. The edamame was perfectly steamed and salted, and the Brussel sprout appetizer is original and fantastic. My husband ordered the Open Sesame as his cocktail and it was unique and very good. We ordered 4 specialty rolls, and the portion sizes were so generous that we could have easily made do with 2 or 3. All were fabulous (only problem was figuring out how to get some of the larger rolls into our mouths without making a mess!). We dined early, and there were plenty of young children and families there, but I imagine the vibe could easily change to a great late night dining spot as the restaurant is open pretty late.

Great Korean options you don't often find, with delicious sushi also. Prompt courteous service too.
