Friend and I decided to go here since I pass by it a lot in my commute. The interior of the restaurant is really nice, you can tell someone’s put a lot of time into it. Our server was very nice as well and explained how things work since it was our first time there.
We were both surprised by the cost of the food but we assumed the portions would be large to compensate. However both the fries and the sandwich were quite small, especially with the six and eleven dollar price tag respectively. It would have also been nice to have it served on real dishes not paper, but that’s a small issue. The sandwich was quite good, but the fries left something to be desired, possibly bad frier oil or just odd gravy.
Still had an enjoyable time, just wish I didn’t pay nearly 40 for two people

This place was Amazing, we stopped in late on a Saturday, Karen the bartender/ server was super friendly and on top of everything, she took our order and made sure our drinks were always refilled, she even made an off-menu drink for my fiancé. To say the food was Amazing wouldn't do it justice, it came out quick and hot. The Roast Beef was delicious, juicy, and tender, my cheese fries were hot and smothered! We will definitely be back soon and will tell everyone about our experience here.

My thing about Nick's is, "old reliable."
You walk in and are greeted by friendly people, you can sit wherever, they'll be sure to serve you quickly.
The food is immaculate, you will NOT find a better roast beef in the West Chester area, and the au jus with it is just heavenly.
We have gone perhaps 15 times over the last 6 years, and every time it's just great; consistently good, no changes to cheap meat or less au jus. Service has always been wonderful and friendly, we always have a good time at Nick's.
And if you just want a beer at the bar, you will get that and a nice chat with locals.
We love this place, it's a gem among local places.It's great for a quick run, it's great if you want to spend some time chatting. Whatever you like and the food is, like I said, immaculate.

My husband and I went on Friday, Aug. 23rd. We both ordered the Roast Pork with Provolone not too wet and an order of gravy fries. When I opened the sandwich to put salt and pepper on it I noticed it was roast beef. I took a bite and thought it was fine so we both started eating. Part way through the sandwich pieces of roast beef were thick and fatty. I pulled them out. We told the waitress we got the wrong sandwiches and she was SO upset she said she’d give us new sandwiches to take home. We really didn’t want them at this point but she insisted. I can’t remember her name but she’s there all the time annd she’s very good. Anyway, my complaint is this: why is the roast beef not cut like the pork which is nice and thin? We never get the beef. The gravy fries have bits and pieces on them so why not shred the beef so it’s easier to eat? This is just MHO. Even the turkey is thin. It makes zero sense. We’ll be back but we won’t ever get the roast beef!
