“The minute you walk in you know this pizzareia is different than others. Chris, the owners offers a warm funny welcome and you immediately feel like you are standing in your best friends kitchen. He told me he makes the “best pizza” and I took the challenge! I wasn’t even there to eat but meet someone in the parking lot. He offered for me to come in afterward and try a free slice. Instead I ordered two pies to take back to Delaware. While they were in the oven Chris was explaining all kind of things about the art of making pizza. Not to put it piping hot in the box or to leave the full pizza boxes on the top of the oven- tricks only someone who really knew their craft would care about. It was such a fun afternoon, and to think I only stopped in to grab a drink and get change. Oh, the pizza… the best! The crust is to die for- crispy and crunchy not doughy like a garlic knot. The sauce tasted authentic, not sweet like you find at our hometown Grottos. Delicious pizza- rivals NYC slices. A definite pizzeria for the connoisseurs out there and even those that just want damn good pizza! 🍕“

“I saw a friend walking out and she highly recommended it. I went the next day and was not disappointed! The staff was incredibly helpful when we had no idea what to order! Highly recommend the Tara latte or strawberry latte with their respective boba!!!! We got a menu and want to make our way through it! If you don’t like boba, the Oreo smoothie was delicious as well! The ambiance inside is very nice and calming as well! I will be back!“

“Wow… this place is incredible. Awesome wings that are meaty and they have great flavor choices. I love the Italian herb. Pizza (try the Grandma) Sicilian and NY style are available. Great selection of food with daily specials. We ate outside which is covered by cool sails. Inside seating as well as a separate picnic table section. Dog friendly with water bowls. Pizza stands are empty crushed tomato containers. Super friendly staff Plenty of free parking and they have music on some nights.“

“I went here for the first time in many years, having been many years ago in the mid to late 90s. It has changed some - slightly different location on corner of the block and a bit smaller than I remember but still a cool vibe. Definitely a unique experience as there aren’t too many Cajun restaurants in the area and it made me miss New Orleans. Fun mardi-gra-esque decor. We had the Cajun pork dumplings as an appetizer- quite spicy and flavorful. Tasty homemade bread with flavored butter. My husband got the seafood fra diavolo and it had lots of seafood in it - shrimp, scallops, calamari and crawfish with linguine. He said it had a nice kick to it and enjoyed it. \nI had the crawfish etouffe and it was okay but honestly pretty bland. I ended up asking for hot sauce to add to it and that made it much better. Deserts were really tasty - I had the bourbon pecan pie and husband had bananas foster. Great service. \nWe will definitely come back.“

“Found Mayday on Instagram before it opened and I felt like the piece of the west coast I was missing was finally arriving locally. Literally a dream of mine: a coffee shop with west coast easy bright energy, plants & niche gifts, flowers, cozy. And the whole mental health origin of the name … 🫶🏼. Just truly one of my favorite places to just be. And every one of us loves it! My husband loves the egg & sausage sandwich and our girls love the hot chocolate and vanilla beignets. “Since delivery was free and we had a promotional offer in the mail we decided to do this over GrubHub and or Doordash. Overall we appreciated the cheaper cost of the items and the ability to order from multiple restaurants at the same time. We are going to definitely try this again mostly because we find it cheaper and it meets our needs for multiple people ordering.“
