Solid spot for the area. I wish they had more Hawaiian food options since that's more unique. I got the BBQ chicken, the were out of the kalula pork. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked, not too dry. I wish there was more veggies but the mac salad was decent. My mom got the Hawaiian shrimp platter; shrimp were cooked well and pretty big in size. I was a bit skeptical about going here after reading reviews about how the establishment break health violation codes......
The food was fresh, flavorful - the spicy ramen was actually spicy, the pork and cabbage tasted like a good homemade meal (smoky, crunchy, steaming hot). The only bummer was the ambiance. I would kindly recommend them choosing a paid music subscription because the radio with a ton of ads is not cutting it. Maybe that’s just a weekday afternoon thing? Or maybe don’t do first date there? But if counting the number of side effects of an eye medication sounds fun to you while...
Both of my kids have had friend birthday dinners at Rai Rai Ramen! My entire family loves this place!! A fan favorite is their pork buns!!!!! I love the shio ramen set, my husband loves their spicy seafood, and I think my kids like the shoyu ramen set and the curry ramen set! Now that there's a second door to keep out the blasts of cold air in winter, everyone can relax and just enjoy the ramen in the dining area!! And every now and then I enjoy some bubble tea with my meal!
