I am 21 years old and they did not let me in when I showed them my ID. It was 4/4/25 at 12am and they should be fired for the nonsense they put me through

We decided to order out tonight. Food arrived here on time. However, we will not be ordering again as the food was way too salty. To the point we had to throw out within 15 minutes of receiving it. We spent over $100 and really looked forward to trying out their food. I rarely if ever give a review. However, on this order, I had to.

As someone who follows a strict vegan diet, I was excited to try this place, a restaurant that proudly advertises itself as fully vegan. With high hopes, I ordered their “Vegan Steak,” expecting a delicious, plant-based alternative to traditional meat. However, what I received was nothing short of shocking—real beef!
At first, I thought there had been a mistake in the kitchen. I even asked the server to confirm that my order was indeed vegan. To my horror, they casually admitted that the “Vegan Steak” was actually made from real beef, as if that was completely acceptable. When I expressed my disbelief, the staff brushed it off, claiming that many customers “wouldn’t be able to tell the difference” and that I should “just try it.”
This is beyond unacceptable. A restaurant that claims to be 100% vegan should never serve animal products—especially without clearly disclosing it. Many people choose a vegan lifestyle for ethical, health, or religious reasons, and tricking customers into eating meat is not only deceptive but also deeply disrespectful.
To make matters worse, when I demanded a refund, the manager was dismissive and unapologetic, offering only a discount on my next visit. As if I would ever return! The entire experience felt like a betrayal. If I hadn’t been cautious enough to double-check my meal, I could have unknowingly consumed something that goes against my values.
I am leaving this one-star review as a warning to others. If you are vegan, vegetarian, or simply expect honesty from a restaurant, avoid this place at all costs! There are plenty of ethical, trustworthy vegan restaurants out there—this is not one of them.
Let me know if you want to make it even harsher!

I've become a regular at Santino's, and for good reason. At first it was for the food, but l've stayed because of the incredible atmosphere and welcoming staff. Nicole, in particular, always goes above and beyond to make me feel at home-she's attentive, friendly, and an absolute gem.
The menu keeps things lively with fresh weekly specials that never disappoint. Whether you're in the mood for a quick bite or a relaxed meal, Santino's is the perfect spot. It's become my go-to place in West Chester. Highly recommend!!

Santino's Tap & Table, an Italian American eatery in West Chester, PA, showcases owner CJ's creative vision in every dish and cocktail. By building upon the culinary legacy of his grandmother Domenica and DeMarco's Restaurant & Bar's 35-year history, CJ has crafted a distinctive, family-friendly dining experience at Santino's Tap & Table.
All of their dishes are scratch made using the freshest ingredients, from local purveyors, to create truly unique dishes. From their hand tossed pizzas (coated in semolina), to
Signature cocktails, such as the Salted Caramel Macchiato Martini and the Cookie Dough Martini, are a must-try. CJ's warm hospitality creates a sense of familiarity, as though generations of family members are cooking for you while you sip on exotic drinks and watch the numerous TVs that adorn the walls. The bar offers ample space, and the staff are warm and welcoming. CJ's success, with two locations and plans for further expansion, is a testament to his commitment to quality and hospitality.

The experience was in line with the large amount of people and chaos of a major Christmas Parade going on outside. Our food was tasteful and the cocktails were fun and festive. I would suggest many more servers and support staff for the day of the parade, it was crazy busy.

I am not a huge fan of the food but I have had pleasant visits and enjoy sitting at the bar upstairs. Bartenders are friendly and drinks are good. Also nice they have plenty of TVs for when sports are on.
I’m not quite sure what people are expecting from the downstairs bar given it’s known for being a college scene. Upstairs is good.

Didn’t get to eat here, but the staff were really nice. We played out front for world music day. Will definitely be back to check it out for a longer time.
