It's my second time here. My first time eating here. First thing I noticed is their music is definitely my vibe. Great staff and I always meet really quality people at the bar. Today I ordered the Cheesesteak. It didn't disappoint! This is definitely my kind of bar!
This is one of West Chester's few dive bars, dark and dreary usually with music from 20+ years ago it's a cheap place to drink. The food isn't the deal it once was but still cheap for town, good after a few beers. The crowd tends to be a bit older compared to the other bars in town.
So, my dad/hero (RIP) and I used to predominantly haunt Becco’s … and Maloney&Porcelli’s + Cité in Hell’s Kitchen. (RIP the last two restaurants ? as well.) Spoto’s in 33418 and Barrio Star in San Diego … this seems like the oddest review. But my point is that I haven’t felt compelled to write anything until I had two whiskey sours and a cheesesteak at the Square Bar, today. In fact, I haven’t gone to many restaurants/bars at all since my dad passed in 2020....
