Last minute family gathering following a West Chester b-ball game family of 15 were very hungry. Manager Adrienne & Waiter Joe P. hosted our family in a private dining room, food was served hot & delicious, drinks were on point, tables were cleaned as food revolved. Beautiful Italian restaurant with high prices and mediocre food to pair. Kasia I believe her name was was an excellent server! My wife got shrimp and lobster ravioli which she loved but I got the steak pasta special and it was mediocre at best. Had filet minion on the top but it was really nothing special about the meat and I had to look for the meat while eating the chunks were that small. The flavor of the whole dish was very muted and the asparagus might've been the most prominent flavor. We shared their special appetizer as well and they were basically big fried batter balls with a morsel of meat inside of them. Tasted okay but basically just something to fill you up.
Drinks - We got the testarossa cocktail and it was amazing - very impressed by that.
Again, our server was great and she is attentive to her tables but the food wasn't that special for the price tag. Don't come here if you're looking to get great value for your money from the food. The ambience is beautiful and all the staff have smiles and are kind so it isn't a bad experience, but I don't feel like you get what you pay for as far as food goes.

A wonderful place to dine!! Great location, wonderful staff, great food, ambience of a college town all around (West Chester University). I highly recommend Teca as a favorite place to dine.

This is not a review of one visit, this is a combined review of 4/5 visits over the last year or so. There are a few gems on the food menu, lots of great cocktails and usually great service and atmosphere at the bar itself. Ask for a table and things change. The sparkling / still water issue is explained in other reviews, if you don't ask specifically for tap water you'll be handed an $8 bottle of water and charged if you drink it or not, which is crazy for a casual restaurant like this. The specials are criticized in many reviews as well, often extremely overpriced and underwhelming. It feels like a scam when you're surprised by the bill because if we're being honest who asks the price of a simple pasta or fish special when the rest of the menu averages $25 a dish. Service is always hit or miss at busy restaurants in a town like West Chester, but management is expected to recognize and rectify any issues that reduce customer experience, something I've seen them fail at again and again. Overall, there's much better options less than a block away.

We went to Teca for a family get together the other day. Parking was a little tight. The chicken marsala was tasty, but the meat was firm and not tender. The pork dish was flavorful and very delicious.

Had a nice meal. It was a bit dark and quiet inside but it was a rainy evening so the ambiance was a bit empty. Food and service was good!

Well served entries with right to a burrata with various elements that left it with a great taste. In the main dishes I recommend the Lobster Ravioli who has a very tasty sauce and the pasta very tasty! Among the desserts I doubted whether it was about tiramisu or creme brulle, both very tasty and sweet to the right extent, so I recommend this restaurant and guarantee that you will have a good experience.

We went for an Early NYE dinner . Everything was wonderful! Food , drinks and service . We love Teca and were happy that even on a holiday , everything was perfect! Ty!
We were at a table in the back room. The back bar and some larger parties made it to where we had to almost scream across the table at one another. We have been here many times and normally had good experience but this was to the point of not being pleasant.

Lighting is a bit dark for my older parents and the TVs were a little much for dinner time. Food was excellent but certain dishes a bit too salty (Risotto). Service was great and very attentive. Overall good experience.

We were relegated to the upstairs even though we had a reservation. The waitress was in a bad mood, it was super loud (no sound absorption in a cavernous room) and two of our dinners were burnt. They gave us a 50% discount on one of them. Thanks, but no thanks! Never going there again. They're to smug. There are a lot of other, better restaurants in West Chester.
