Tsunami sushi bar and asian cuisine

This is by far the best sushi and thai place in west chester, and my personal favorite restaurant Ever. I visit primarily for their FRESH, filling and affordable lunch specials. The bento box, sushi sashimi combo and Thai plates are Goated, coming with their respective sides and always miso and/or savory ginger sauce green salad. I’ve been coming here frequently the past 4 years and swear by their menu. Something for everyone to try with both raw and cooked appetizers. Dont sleep on their monthly specials either, treasure box and beef pho are exceptional. The sushi combos for dinner are epic - dinner for 2, 4 or a large plate for a party- sushi cheff knows how to throw down. No rip offs here, the sushi is always fresh and has the perfect rice to fish ratio. Several vegetarian and vegan options as well for all courses! Amy was wonderful aswell as our lovely lunch waitress, always attentive and never overbearing. The music is always calming and a little jazzy at times. Interior design is neat and clean, 2 working bathrooms, great lighting from the front windows (that doesn’t blind you, but peers in as it should). There is street parking and a great parking garage arpund the corner aswell. As a college student with limited spending money who loves Thai/Japanese cuisine I recommend this place to all in the region. 10/10 , 5 stars and all love to our beautiful Tsunami ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Excellent sushi. Great selection of specialty rolls, apps, and specials. Recommended the pancake with roast pork belly. Highly recommend this restaurant. This is a BYO.

Food is good and reasonably priced but the service is extremely inconsistent. Sometimes we sit for literal hours, sometimes we’re in and out. The times we sit are quite frustrating. Takeout is never ready on time.

Tsunami is hands down one of the best go to spots in West Chester. Everything about Tsunami just goes above and beyond.

The food here is easily one of the best in West Chester. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The fish used in the sushi is super fresh and tender, everything is made to order on the spot. The chicken katsu is the best in the area by far. I've been hunting for an amazing mango sticky rice and tsunami helped me find it. On top of all of that the prices are super reasonable and affordable for the portion sizes.

The staff is super friendly and caring, walking in there feels like stopping by a friend's place for dinner. The owner is second to none, she's always quick to greet customers and make sure they are helped. You can tell she really cares.

The atmosphere is nice, it's casual and welcoming, and has very authentic decor.

Overall a 10/10 and I would rate it higher if I could

I got scammed :/ they upcharge you if you do the lunch special with a mix of meat (I got the steak and asked for half shrimp half steak) they uncharged me for the shrimp and only gave me half a portion of the steak. That doesn’t seem right. Food tastes ok.

First time to try this place and very impressed by the quality and quantity. Had the shrimp Lo Mein and I have never had such huge shrimp from any other restaurant. Delish!
