This place is perfect! Phenomenal hoagies, friendly service, and a gaggle of local regulars (an unmistakable sign of quality). Bonus points for a slew of PA local goods: Herr's, Utz, Tastykake, Turkey Hill, Martin's, etc.
I had moved from the area in 1981, and this weekend my son and I went back to visit, I was blown away to see they were still going 40 years later!! So of course we had to have lunch there!!! Let me assure you it was and always will be the best place for a cheese steak sub, jammed pack sub that’s worth every penny, I can only wish that one day they will come into Maryland!! For now I will make the trip up for the best sub you can find!! To all the locals,,,,, your very lucky...
I’ve lived here for 11 years and only went here once in the first few months. Apparently I wasn’t impressed. Went back last week for a special hoagie and it was fantastic! Ordered again tonight for a pizza ($7!), salad, and curly fries. Also fantastic. Don’t sleep on this place!
