Service was poor but food was good. We walked in in the early afternoon and everyone we saw was on their phone. We ordered our food to go and we sat at a table while waiting. 2 tables were dirty, no one had cleaned the crumbs off. As soon as the guy took our order, he sat down again and was on his phone, with a noisy video playing. But our sandwiches were good.
I go down this way once a month. I’ve gotten hoagies there twice. Never a disappointment. Hoagie (special Italian) is packed with meat and delicious. Potato salad was good and had a piece of chocolate cake. Both good. I’ll be stopping there every month for now on. And the guy who answers the phone and takes care of the register is really nice.
Hugo is one of the nicest and generous restaurant owners I've ever met. The food was so good! Get a cheese steak - you won't regret it! There are a few tables inside to eat, so this is more of a to-go spot, but now that I've tried the food here, this will be my go-to!
