Very nice and welcoming place
Great local place. We go every other month. We like the BYOB option
The management is terrible.
My Husband and boys treated me to dinner at Twelves for Mother’s Day and what a treat it was!! The food is always delicious and the staff is always so kind but yesterday was just extra special, everyone wished me a happy Mother’s Day . I was excited to see local options for drinks on the menu. I enjoyed a yummy glass of rose. Two of us had the lobster ravioli special which had huge chunks of lobster in the dish. My oldest son had the seafood Mac and cheese and loved it and I had my usual…crabs cakes, always a pleaser! We had crème brûlée, homemade vanilla ice cream and the olive cake for dessert. Seriously, so delicious!! Kudos to the chef!! I really appreciate the atmosphere is Twelves…there’s no crazy loud music and the lighting is good! It drives me crazy when restaurants and loud and dark. Look no further than Twelves in West Grove for your next night out. Next time I’m there I’m trying one of their lattes! Yum!
Food took one and a half hour to get, so we had to immediately have it boxed up so we could get our kids. When I got home I found my steak to be rotten, and my wife’s salmon made her stomach upset.
Our server was very good, and I do not regret tipping over 20%. That being said, it took well over an hour to finally get our food, so we had to get it immediately boxed (we had to pick our kids up and we’re not expecting to spend 1 1/2 hour getting food without appetizers.) it was salmon and medium rare steak. When we ate it, the salmon was alright. On the other hand the steak was not medium rare because it seamed bad. It had a cabbage smell and tasted foul. I had to spit it out and throw it away. I will not be coming back, ever. I hope our waiter finds a better job.
The redeeming quality of this restaurant was only our server Faith who was awesome. The steak needed more flavor, the salmon was overcooked, and what they thought was risotto tasted like milked down rice. I had heard great things and curious to know if we would have a different experience with a different chef perhaps? Rose was delicious.
Gina is the best waitress in the Western Hemisphere.

Brought a group, the waitress was able to cater everyone's needs and wants. She was personable and polite. The food, portions and prices were a hit with everyone. Best local beef burger in the area.

Had a great lunch as usual. Gina was friendly and knowledgeable about items on the menu (which does change several times a per year). I look forward to Burger Day and to Twelves Day. Worth the trip from West Chester.

Stopping for a dinner on our way back from Kennett Square to D.C., Twelves Grill & Cafe was a great restaurant in the small town of West Grove. We walked in on a Saturday evening without a reservation and got a table right away.
Service was impeccable and the menu large. We loved the mushroom soup with lobster and the Caesar salad. Our seven-year-old daughter loved the Mac and cheese.
