Food took one and a half hour to get, so we had to immediately have it boxed up so we could get our kids. When I got home I found my steak to be rotten, and my wife’s salmon made her stomach upset.

Brought a group, the waitress was able to cater everyone's needs and wants. She was personable and polite. The food, portions and prices were a hit with everyone. Best local beef burger in the area.

Had a great lunch as usual. Gina was friendly and knowledgeable about items on the menu (which does change several times a per year). I look forward to Burger Day and to Twelves Day. Worth the trip from West Chester.

Stopping for a dinner on our way back from Kennett Square to D.C., Twelves Grill & Cafe was a great restaurant in the small town of West Grove. We walked in on a Saturday evening without a reservation and got a table right away.

Service was impeccable and the menu large. We loved the mushroom soup with lobster and the Caesar salad. Our seven-year-old daughter loved the Mac and cheese.

Waitress was great--accommodating to our dislike of cold blowing air and returning 2 cold parsnip/cauliflower purees back to the kitchen for reheating. Husband's muscles pasta had clumps of pasta (8 to 10 noodles stuck together in 2 places) and was just okay. My double pork chop was quite undercooked and I hardly ate any at the restaurant after getting back only slightly warm puree. Once heated at home, it was all good. Restaurant was not crowded at all.

Excellent rack of lamb and local brew double IPA with fine dining service and a casual vibe in an old bank.

This place is great! Me, my wife, Nana and my son had lunch here this past weekend. That fact that your eating a delicious meal in a resturant converted bank location is amazing to me. They still have the original vault in the middle of the establishment! Now that to me just makes it a very enjoyable experience I definitely recommend seeing this place for yourself.

The building is very nice and historical. The room we sat in was very cold and the seats were uncomfortable. Appetizer was the Twelves Bread and it was excellent with fresh mushrooms and goat cheese. The black bean soup was tasty, fresh and hot. Nice. I ordered a lager beer that was locally brewed and I couldn't finish it; it had an "off" taste, so I ordered the double IPA and it was tasty and fresh. They took the lager off my bill. My partner had the Pinot Franc; it was watered down. The entrees were the Crab Cake sandwich and the Steak and Fries. The flat iron steak was ordered medium and it was prepared as such. Although the steak had nice flavor and was hot, several pieces were rubbery and inedible. The fries were hot but unremarkable. The crabcake was cooked on the outside but the inside was runny and bland tasting. Salt was not even discernible. The German chocolate cake was tasty as was the carrot cake. The prices were a bit high for the quality. We may give it another chance and try the lunch menu, but otherwise, we won't be back. The restaurant staff was friendly and accommodating.
