Absolute gem of a place! First time dining and absolutely will be back! Elevated home cooked meals, attentive and gracious owner….we were a party of 5 and every one of us loved our choices! Can’t wait to try other menu items! Owner was so kind to our 85 year old mom for her birthday! They are doing it right!

What a beautiful evening at the 6pm valentine dinner seating. The charcuterie bowl was the perfect start. Just the right amount and variety. The salad dressing and salad were amazing. On to the soup. Oh my that soup! The chicken entree dish was AMAZING ! Then the homemade cookies topped it off with some fresh coffee. Of course that was all fabulous but the little things made the difference. Attentive servers, valentine decorations, and the to go treat box with our very reasonable check are what took it from really good to great ! And the music selection and volume were just right and the icing on the valentine cake! Can’t wait to come back soon. Thank you all for making a memorable evening. Keep sweating the small stuff, it makes a difference.

I stopped here on my way through town and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious meal. The hosts were very kind, and the dining area was decorated with interesting items.

Atmosphere was fantastic! Staff was friendly and welcoming, food was INCREDIBLE! and vegetarian friendly. The pot of chai tea was to die for! Everything down to the dressing was homemade!

The menu is thoughtfully prepared, focused on healthy home cooked meals.
I had the filet special. The meat was tender, juicy and delicious. The sides were nice and rustic while keeping simplicity at the forefront with taste. Everything was cooked to perfection and was delicious.
The owner is a lovely person, who likes to connect with her patrons. In an establishment of this quality, that's very important.
Definately check this place out. It's well worth it.

This is hands down my favorite place to eat. Marsha and Patrice? are some very very good cooks. Great hospitality and atmosphere. It is by far the most down to home restaurant I’ve ever been to. I’ve tried breakfast and dinner here and man I was not disappointed. I would give 100 stars if I was able to do so. Please take the 12 minute drive out 844 and give this place a try. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Wow, what an unexpected dining experience! My wife and I stopped in for an early dinner Saturday. We were greeted by Marsha who was very engaging and friendly. She told us a brief history of the restaurant and her philosophy on food. Everything is from scratch and made to order.

We both decided on the petite filet. Nice portions and both cooked to perfection. Delicious. To top everything off, we “shared” a piece of blueberry pie à la mode. Shared is in quotes because afterwards we ordered a second piece!

We simply loved every aspect of The Kitchen on Main. Unfortunately we live over 2 hours from her place. On the way home, we talked about making another road trip to the area. The Kitchen on Main will be our go to eatery. Here’s to many years of success.

This place doesn’t disappoint! Always the freshest ingredients and great service! Love the atmosphere too. Makes you slow down for an hour.

The staff that work here are lovely people, definitely recommend giving it a try! The restaurant is beautifully decorated. There is an outdoor patio with the fresh veggies they grow! The food and dessert is absolutely incredible! Definitely a new food staple for my family!
