This is one of the best places in the Pittsburgh area! Sadly they are closing. Always great service wonderful food and wine. Absolutely great atmosphere!
We had a wonderful evening and meal. We're so sad to hear it's closing at the end of the month
I immediately made reservations when I found out they were closing. This is one of my favorite restaurants. It is conveniently located. The food is phenomenal, service the best and wine list extensive. The dining room is cozy and comfortable. My friend and I shared a bottle of wine, appetizers and dessert. We both had the salmon. Every thing was delicious. I bought a couple of bottles of wine which they were selling to go. I will miss Mary's Vine. I'm so sorry they had to close. Pittsburgh will be missing a great dining experience.
Very sad of its closing. It was a perfect evening from the moment we stepped in. Our server, Sarah was extremely helpful with the nenu and wine options. Food from soup to entre to dessert was fabulous!
Came here a few days ago while visiting the park. Wanted some lunch. Got in line waited about 10-15 minutes not bad. Got burger and some fries. Or what looked to be charcoal remains of a burger and fries. The fries looked unrecognizable and the burger was so damn crunchy it was disgusting. I ended up throwing away my 15$ lunch I was GUTTED! I made some cops pay for it though lol poor suckers. I ended up just munching on some weeds that I picked and some loose gravel on the sidewalks and ate that as well. Tasted way better than burnt food. Don’t come here unless u wanna eat ashes.

The service is impeccable! Alexis was very knowledgeable about wine and food menu and made some great suggestions. She was attentive without being intrusive. We were there for brunch on a Sunday and food was excellent! The place is so uniquely beautiful. Definitely will return!
Our favorite place in town. The interior is really cool and different to anything else we've been to in Pittsburgh. The food is excellent and the staff are great and knowledgeable.
Amazing experience, food was fabulous and the service top notch. It is such an interesting place, you need to see the Study downstairs it's such a unique experience. A definite must try!
This was our first time but won't be our last. It's a bit far for us but totally worth it. Our waiter was great. He interacted just enough for me and was friendly. He provided great recommendations and was attentive. Granted we had an early reservation because of the location. But in the future I wouldn't be as concerned about that. They provide free valet which makes parking a breeze and seem to have good relations with their neighbors. Everything we ate was delicious. We also went to The Study so a cigar and drink after dinner could be enjoyed. It wasn't that busy so that made it nice. I hope that more people people frequent this place as it is a true gem.
The atmosphere is beautiful, comfortable and tastefully done. The wine list is second to none and the cocktails are superb. That said we were a bit disappointed in the food. Although it was delicious, it wasn't exceptional as all other aspics of our experience there would indicate. We had dined at V & V Scratch kitchen in that same week and found that the salmon in particular was better than at Mary's Vine. I also had the pork chop and again found that By George in Monessen does a better job with both flavor and tenderness. I don't mean to be critical, but thought my husband's and my review might be helpful. We do dine out often.

The food and wine that we had were delicious. We started with the meat/cheese board and the homemade focaccia, split a vegetable salad and finished with the salmon entree. Each coarse was very good and we can't wait to get the salmon again, it was exceptional. We chose a wine flight and then each had an additional glass. The prices are on the higher side, but there plenty of mix and match options. There is nothing quite like this in our area and the service and ambiance make for an enjoyable evening.
This was a delightful experience. Our waitress was exceedingly knowledgeable of the wine selection. The food was divine, and no detail was forgotten. We will certainly be returning.
Mary's Vine is our new favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh! Pricey but the venue is lovely and the food and service were excellent. Make sure you check out the cigar bar before you leave (you may need help finding it!!)
From beginning to end, our Anniversary dinner was filled with care and attention to detail. We were welcomed as though we were “regulars” and left with the feeling that we will be. After an amazing meal, we enjoyed after dinner drinks and a cigar downstairs in The Study. Such a gem in the Pittsburgh dining scene-can't wait to return!
Mary's Vine is the place to go for a fine dining experience. The meals are delicious and pleasing to the eye. The extensive wine list (and knowledge of the wine) and the cocktail list is also impressive. The chairs are comfortable and invite you relax, unwind, enjoy the company of your dining partners. The meal is at your pace and one never feels rushed or hurried. Leave the little ones at home, put an extra dab of perfume behind your ear (wink) and go have true fine dining experience!
