After the current owners took over the park has consistently gone down hill. They keep taking out everyones favorite rides, adding thongs that dont belong like Johnny Rockets, the park is always filthy now, the employees are rude, they allow their guests to behave like trash, half the rides are closed, Thomas town is one of the worst decisions they have ever made. They took the kangaroo away. Its heartbreaking how disappointing it is there now.
I hadn't been to Kennywood for years. we went last year 2019 for holiday lights. the display is nice.
Kennywood was actually a really great park with some wonderful rides and a ton of historic charm. If you haven't been there before, I'm sorry you missed some of its best years because you'll never find another park more special than what Kennywood was. I wish there was a way to bring back the family-owned feel. New leadership has made some disappointingly uninformed decisions that will have lasting negative effects. They clearly have not done their market research and do not know their fanbase. I always loved Kennywood Park and wish it could have kept its unique individuality. Now just thinking of Kennywood makes me sad.
lines were absolutely horrible. waited 45 minutes for an ice cream cone. Only rode 3 rides in 4 hours. Too much money for what you get. If you pay at the door at least an hour wait. Won't be back. So crowded, people rude and kids running into you. Not worth it at all.
it sucks everything is over priced lines are to long and it's not scary I was very disappointed plus they had a lot of food and game booths closed thank God our tickets were free because it's not worth the money
Way to many people, we only got to ride 3 rides in 5 hours. The staff is also very unprofessional and slow moving at everything they do. It became annoying because it was so overcrowded. Won’t be back.. go to cedar point...
Kennywood is amazing. my kids and I love it.it’s a awesome place for all ages.we go there a lot and we’re never disappointed.Kennywood is a awesome amusement park.
Disappointed ... went there yesterday walked around wanting to get on some rides .. line was forever and seemed like every other ride was closed for some reason ... My point is that much to get into a park and have that many rides closed without any warning or anything knowing rides are shut down and still paying full price ... all and the parking sucks incline wasn’t working and the stairs goin down didn’t work.. kennywood seems like looking at all the reviews lately u are not well liked and can’t apologize for the inconvenience .. sad to charge that much for a park that’s half closed
Eh, Kennywood...
Standing in a long line just to refill a cup makes no sense at all to me. And also need a better system for people who have the disability papers for rides they should have there own line like all the other amusement parks have.

I usually love kennywood it’s a Pittsburgh tradition to go but I was very disappointed by the food my funnel cake was over cooked and just made with no thought or love put into it just a doughy piece of pancake the fries were burnt and no cheese if you going to have an amusement park atleast invest in so good food to make people want to come back sorry kennywood ......INVEST IN BETTER FOOD
It was horribly hot but there were several spray stations around that made it bearable. We had a great time. Enjoyed looking at the antique cars too.
