This place has been garbage since Josh A. left. Why would you want to pay high prices for beers you can get anywhere else $2 cheaper. He used to get great breweries you couldn't get in the area. Food is a joke now too. I don't mind tipping but why would I tip for tapping my own beer?

Almost all the beer was tapped out. There were also exposed nails on the railing which I cut my fingers on. The entire place felt like a sad depressed hole on the verge of shutting down.

I used to recommend this place. Now, I’m not too sure. We went when they first opened & the bathrooms were still dirty. Sad to say this place went downhill.

Even if you “clean the bathrooms daily”. They shouldn’t be dirty. Service & food also does matter but cleanliness of a restaurant is important. Won’t be going back.

Made an 11:00 reservation for brunch. Got a confirmation email for said brunch reservation, for a party of 5. Get there and it’s closed, with beer glasses sitting in front of the door. The group of us travel from all different areas with one being 45 minutes away. Nothing was communicated that it wouldn’t be open, or that our reservation was canceled. Unfortunately, would not recommend going here for brunch.

Took my son for AYCE crab legs. When we got seated, it took 10mins for someone to even talk to us. Started eating all is good. Waitress then doesn't keep crab legs coming out. Literally had to finish them completely before she would even look at us to put another order in. (Very odd, because table aside of us kept getting extra orders just sitting at the end of the table). After about 4-5 orders, Manager n waitress come up to us n says I'm sorry, but we are out of crab legs. I'm like, what do you mean? We are still hungry. He says we can get an appetizer. Not each. Not a burger...just 1 appetizer. We order chicken strips... they come out, it was 4 tiny tenders with 2 pieces of toast n 2 pickles. The 4 tenders were not even a whole chicken breast. Chicken is $2.99lb. Your telling me all u can give me is 4 tiny tenders to replace crab legs? $75 for dinner n we leave hungry. Completely unexceptable. I do apologize for only leaving a $2 tip, but making us wait for re orders, and running out of food isn't her fault, but dam, I paid enough. Can't believe they didn't offer BOTH OF US whatever we wanted off the menu. Even if we both ordered burgers, it would of been cheaper then crab legs.

It was my first time here and as someone who runs multiple restaurants I would say I'm more critical than the average person. The food and service here is above average and was great!

The owner has a great place with good food and drinks. Female bartenders, however, need to get over themselves. They completely ruin the vibe in this place. I know good help is hard to find which is why I continue to come back here. Not the owner's fault. But those female bartenders need to go... rude nasty, and way too full of themselves. If you can't handle the fast pace go work at the Dollar Store, they're hiring.

Stepping into The Beer Wall, I was immediately struck by the unique and inviting atmosphere of this establishment. The concept of self-serve beer adds an innovative twist to the traditional pub experience, allowing patrons to explore a vast selection of craft beers at their own pace. The variety is impressive, catering to all tastes from the hoppiest IPAs to the smoothest stouts. But it's not just the beer that makes The Beer Wall a must-visit; the food here is equally remarkable. Each dish, from the gourmet burgers to the artisanal appetizers, is prepared with a level of care and quality that complements the beer selection perfectly. The flavors are bold and satisfying, turning what could have been a simple night out into a culinary adventure. The staff at The Beer Wall deserve a special mention for their friendly and knowledgeable service. They're always on hand to offer recommendations and insights into the beer selection, enhancing the overall experience. The Beer Wall is a standout destination for beer enthusiasts and foodies alike. Whether you're looking to explore new beer styles or simply enjoy a meal with some fun retro arcade games, you'll find what you're looking for here. It's a place I'll certainly be returning to and recommend to all my friends here on Facebook.RicoTheBarberPro, Whiskers Barber Company & Shave Parlor

Food was fine. Beer was a little expensive for something I had to get myself. They were playing country music over the speakers. Not Johnny Cash type country music that's got enough blues in it to be tolerable, but yeehaw heehaw truck/dog/beer southern draw auditory-abuse type country music. For an hour and a half. Again, food was good, service was good, beer selection was good.

First off, I'd like to say that in concept, this place is cool. That being said, walking into an empty bar and restaurant, on a Sunday afternoon, during football season, is never a good sign. These are the reasons I won't be back to the beer wall.-This place is really expensive. It's very VERY easy to run your tab up, because you pull your own beer. The bartender explained that sometimes the beer pull will still run even if the keg is empty. We accidentally added $72 to our tab all because the keg was empty. They did take the extra money off the tab once we said something, but it's not worth the stress.-Half of their beer list was displaying empty on their beer wall. There's no point in offering such a large selection if you can't manage and refill kegs when they run out.-On top of that, the ambiance sucks. There's nothing to do except the free pinball machines upstairs. It was dead quiet inside with no music running. Not even a TV (except on in the back playing movies). Just us, the horribly unprofessional bartender, and an empty beer list.- The bartender barely explained anything until we asked, and once we were pouring our drinks, I turned around, and she was clearly talking about us and laughing. She didn't do much other than stand behind the empty bar talking to another employee. Not necessarily the bartending experience I enjoy.-Back of the house was loud and rowdy. With some guy walking through the dining room yelling about racism. We chose to drink our one drink each and leave.I think this place is a cool idea, but staff needs to be trained on how to approach, speak, and act around customers. They also need to manage their beer selection better, because it's not worth coming in if half the selection is missing anyway. If you're looking for a place that has ambiance and actual people, try West Reading pub or Chatty Monks.
